third time but last cannot pick any problems with the place the service is a1 but the rooms let the place down we asked 4 single beds were given a double with the killer beds only cut leg once had to move due to noise at bars closeby elana on reception was great as were maids and others they have spent money on lounge area but nothing on guests rooms they have also cut down by 40% the hal board menu although they have changed breakast service better will not go back untill they upgrade rooms and beds are changed and get soundproo in rooms over main road as there is noise at bars and cars scooters and buses roaring 24 hrs some guests go year ater year but they must be given special treatment with rooms or can stand pain a tip i you get a bed with sharp corners tuck a single towel rolled up under matress on corners this gives protection and avoid room 400 402 and 404 .

3rd year in Turkey and by far the best, Icmeler is lovely, clean and friendly and the Devamli was an excellent hotel judging by some of the hotels I have stayed in in Turkey. It was also a great location, 5 mins from beach and night life surrounding. Friendly staff and maids were excellent. Hassle free for most part...but wouldnt be Turkey if there wasnt some!!
Sports Cafe was were we spent majority of our holiday, excellent little place with friendly staff who made you feel really welcome. On the day before we left we had a "FREE" day at the pool bar, eating and drinking from early morning with the 10% card you get on arrival which was a bonus! Love boat was also good not the best in Icmeler but there were too many too choose from.
Pool was very cold, but excellent as temperature was between 45-50 degrees everyday. Jacuzzi and small pool upstairs were also great for a quick dip to cool off.
I would recommend anyone go to Icmeler and stay at the Devamli my husband and I will certainly be returing in the near future, we stayed for 11 nights, but will return for longer next time......was a pitty to have to leave....only good memories of this resort.

We have stayed in Icmeler on previous occaisions but decided to have a change of hotel. We chose the Devamli and we were not disappointed. We were greeted by staff who carried our cases to reception. Registration was simple and we were in our room within minutes. We had asked for a high floor and close to the lift. Our requests were met. The room had been cleaned and was light and airy. We did have some initial problem with the air con but it fixed very quickly and worked very efficiently for the rest of the holiday. Our wedding anniversary fell during our holiday and the room was decorated by the room sevice ladies.
We had taken the half board option which was a wise choice. Evening meals were taken at the adjacent "Love Boat" restaurant. The meals were more than adequate and the menu was varied and extensive. The waiters were pleasant and very efficient. We did not take wine with the meals as we thought that it seemed a little expensive. Beer and spirits were about right. The Turkish Breakfasts were good, again served in the Love Boat. The hotel bar (Sport Bar) is a pavement cafe/bar which serves good value snacks and lunches. The staff there are very welcoming and interested in how your holidays is going. A card is issued on arrival at the hotel and if presented with payment of bills points are collected which can be converted to discount both in the Sport Bar and The Love Boat.
We have decided that we will return to the Devamli very soon and I am sure that we will recieve a warm welcome and excellent service.

Just returned after a good holiday at a great price. I'll list the pros and cons.
Pros
1. Central location, not too far from the beach.
2. Very clean and comfortable when the a.c. had cooled the room.
3. Public areas excellent.
4. Breakfast in the Love Boat.
5. Nice clean pool.
6 Great staff.
7. Proximity to Love Boat and Sports Inn.

Cons
1. Rooms small. Ours was twin bedded.
2. Rooms on the west side i.e. overlooking deck, very hot in the evening and the a.c. struggled.
3. Sunbathing area i.e. deck is seperate from swimming pool and small.

On Icmeler beach you can walk the length of it going from sunbed to sunbed, they are so close. It gets vey busy.
