“Excellent Value for money considering your paying budget prices”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 January 2012

OK - I have now been to this hotel twice first of all in June 2011 and again in September 2011.
Please do not think I am not well travelled as I have lived in Asia and travelled Europe and South America and yet still am probably going to go a third time simply because the Sesin offers excellent value for money.
Its small and a basic hotel but having said that the rooms are very good considering what you are paying, they had almost all been refurbished by September 2011 with the view to the rest being done for 2012.
The Food is of a reasonable standard and some dishes are excellent, the down side is the choice is limited. Although I should remind you that you are paying less than many self catering holidays in the area so I consider the food to be a bonus. What we did was subsidised eating out in some of the nicest restaurants in town by eating some evening , breakfast and some lunch meals at the hotel which by the way is about 50 meters from the beach.
I would also like to add here that people who moan about the food being poor are probably a little naive as it isn't, instead it is done to the local style.

The Pool is a little small and the sun loungers are a little cramped but as I previously said for a cheap holiday that is cheaper than even the majority of self-catering holidays you cant expect the world. And as for the very nice Elegance hotel opposite... well it would be nicer if it is 3 times more expensive deeerrrrrr!!!:P

The staff are friendly and they all remembered us from our first visit.
The hotel is clean and well kept.
I have spoken to other people staying in other hotels who we met on our transfers etc and they paid hundreds of pounds more than we did for all inclusive and one family who had spent another £150 per head had a torrid time at their hotel with food poisoning, money and goods being stolen from their rooms and boring food.

So just remember how well Sesin does considering what you pay!!

Really this hotel is good for all types of people and it is what you make of it....
Both times I have visited it is mainly the Brits that are staying with a small number of other Europeans.

P.s we took food and water back to our rooms and never got charged on any occasion.

“wont go back”

I came on trip advisor to write a report which is something that i have never done before because were an easy going couple who cant stand moaning but after going here we had to say something. I cant believe some of the other reports who say it is good, and the people on the last report were there the same time as us. first of all ill try to be constructive. The hotel is in a great location, near the beach and the bars and restaurants and there is a water park around the corner. The rooms are very clean and the beds are changed every day as are the towels. The hotel is quiet at night so if you like an early night then its the place to go. There are a couple of bar staff called seamus and ozzy (lee evans) who are a pleasure to be around who work really hard for little money but yet they always smile and are very pleasant and a credit to the hotel.
Now comes the downsides so i'll do this in a bullet point system
1. We paid to go all inclusive , but you are charged for drinks in your room even water which is essential seeing you cant drink the tap water .
2. There are no tea or coffee facilities in your room , so if you like a brew when you get up you have to get dressed and go downstairs which is inconvenient but not the end of the world but worth mentioning
3. You are not allowed to buy drink from the shop or food like crisps or snacks and take them to your room, if you are caught you will be charged, believe me it happened to a group of young lads we got to know
4. There is no entertainment at night or day
5. The pool is really small and about 6 people on inflatables is enough to fill it
6. If you have young children be careful as the pools shallow end is 4 foot deep. there is an adjoined kiddies pool but its about six foot wide and about a foot deep and pretty useless to be honest
7. The food is not great . I am a fussy eater i admit but my girlfriend isnt. Breakfast consists of cereal which does not look good , salami , cheese , bread, beans , olives . We only went once and eat out for breakfast the rest of the week , but people there told us the breakfast was the same most days. The lunch and teas pretty much the same but with couscous , cold pasta , chips and meatballs and soup and bread . We had the soup for our lunch but eat out every night for our tea.
8. due to the position of the hotel its in the shade on one side of the pool in the morning and then in complete shade after 3 pm so if you like sunbathing it could be an issue.
9. The hotel has its own bit of the beach where you can get the sun all day but yes you guessed it , you cant take any food or drinks onto the beach and are charged once again for your drinks
10. This place is not for young people , or young children as there is nothing to do and if your a parent there is nothing worse than trying to entertain your kids all day when your trying to relax yourself
11. Apart from seamus and ozzy the staff are a set of miserable gits, and dependant on what time of year you go the hotel can be full of russians, bulgarians, and eastern europeans .
overall we loved marmaris and it really is a beautiful place and we met some really nice people . You will be mithered to go into restaurants and shops but this is to be expected in turkey. If you like quiet then this hotel is ok , but be aware about the all inclusive side of it as i spent 400 pound in one week eating and drinking out when i expected to eat and drink in the hotel so take plenty money . If dave, julie ,bradley , jason, matt , mark, vicky, dale claire , and any others that we met weren't there the holiday would have been a lot worse

“fab holiday.........”

Just returned from the sesin, and had a great time.......... the location was 2 mins from the beach, all shops, bars etc, where we were in shopping heaven!! There was a great selection of food, healthy salads, pastas, homemade hummous, pesto etc, chicken, pastas, the crusty bread was beaut and always fresh, the soup was different every day and delicious........ however if you are looking for burgers chips, sausages pies etc, you wont find it here...... but you can get a great full english 50mts away for £2. The rooms were spotless, cleaned everyday, we couldn't fault the cleanliness. the staff were great, really friendly and work hard long hours, i'm sure they appreciate holiday makers making the effort, having a bit of banter and a laugh......The let down was the evening entertainment.... there wasn't any, so few drinks at the hotel, (all inc consists of lager, vodka, gin, wine, soft drinks) bacardi, bailies, malibu were extra, then out for a few cocktails....... but met some great people at the hotel, mainly english holidaymakers. We went as a group of 10 ages 12-65, and the holiday was enjoyed by all. for what we paid we got value for money. if you want 5*, pay 5* prices. the hotel has a free section on the beach, but it was cramped and you had to get there early, so we used the beds further along, they were free, but you had to buy a drink or food from the bed owners (you just put your hand up and they brought your food and drinks at a good price) think i had a glass of wine, and a chicken salad wrap..... around £5, bliss...... enjoy.

My sister and I stayed 10 nights at the Sesin Hotel, Marmaris. I can not fault it and do not know what people are moaning about. The food is typically Turkish but was delicious and could always find something to eat. The staff were all very good and the hotel was professionally run, not full of young turkish men chasing anything in a skirt. Rooms were fine and kept clean, clean towels when required ( just leave them on the floor and they will change). All Inclusive bar was excellent with good measures or vodka, gin, rum, raki and branded soft drinks. I have been to Turkey 6 times now and this is the best hotel I have stayed, the worst being Villa Sol on the beachfront, but thats another story!!!!

Room Tip: Choose a pool facing room, which is known as a garden view. Rooms at the back suffer noise from the...

“DON'T LISTEN TO ALL THE BAD REVIEWS”

Just arrived home after 9 nights at the Sesin. Food wasn't great but everything else made up for it. The room was spotless and the bathroom was very impressive especially the shower cubicle. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Shamus and Selami were particularly good and a credit to the hotel. The measures at the all inclusive bar were very generous (especially when poured by Selami!) and when there was no staff behind the bar they even let you help yourself! Great location too. We'll be back next year without hesitation.
