Dangerous!!I Don't know quite where to start with this,but do not stay in this hotel if you value your life.Stayed here is August 2011.My husband went to wash his face in the bathroom,the light fitting just fell off from the wall and he got an electric shock to his head,luckily he had not started the tap running at that point.Room we were offered had a view of rubbsih and dodgy building site/staff quaters with dirty matresses on rooftop,asked for another room as was not enough head height as top floor sloping roof,reception gave us a key to go look our selves,luckily i walked in first as we walked in on a naked woman who had just come out of the shower and spoke no English.Reception/staff ignorant and rude,asked several times to speak with manager ,know where to be found,at the end of the holiday when he did show up,he was the most rude/arrogant man we have ever met.Other problems bins not changed ,leaking tap,saw cockroaches near restuarant area,wake up calls where never on time,one was 40 mins late.Could never get any answers from anyone,the female receptionist and safe manager were engaged and just kept making excuses for each other,the receptionist was not rude but not very bright.All other staff were rude and disrespectful.

went to poseidon on 14august till 21st...well where do i begin..travelled with my mum and two children aged 8 and 15,although the hotel its self was very clean and the rooms were a great size, we found the staff completly rude,in fact dont think we actually had a conversation with any of them the whole time we were there,it was NOT a child friendly hotel at all....the pool was very small which you got kicked out of at about 5pm so they could set up for dinner..on our stay i believe we were the only English family there..other guest werent friendly at all. the hotel doesnt have any entertainment at all, which can cause a few problems when you have children as it would have been nice on the odd occasion to chill out and relax in the hotel..all in all Marmaris its self is a truly beautiful place,would recomend a lazy day boat trip but with regards to the hotel dont go if you have children and your English....

we are just back from being on holiday at this hotel where the staff were friendly and polite there was a large selection of food quite a lot of turkish quisine you could always get something to eat it would be better if it was allocated tables all the rooms and corridors were carpeted we would have no hesitation in going back

just got back from hols. we found hotel to be spotless clean. pool brill and the staff very friendly and helpfull. menu could be improved but the food was fresh and plentyfull. only downer is there doesnt seem to be many english speaking guests at this hotel. would def go again
