The Hotel is split between 2 Blocks, We stayed in Block B it had not yet been refurbished to the high standard of Block A but was still clean and well maintained. (It is due to be done in 2012).
Our room was a fair size and was cleaned daily, we also had a double bed which was lovely and comfy.
Our only negative was that it was above the Kitchen so we were woken quite early by the sound of the fans starting up to cool the Kitchen down. You can pay to upgrade to Block A but our room was fine for the amount of time we spent in it.
The food was to a high quality but the variety was quite limited. The only con is that the other holidaymakers (mainly german) would push infront of you when you were queueing and they would go and pick their desserts before even having there main meals so there was not much choice left for the rest of us.
There is an indoor restaurant and an outdoor seating area, It was difficult to find a seat if you were not ready to eat as soon as the restaurant opened for dinner as alot of the holidaymakers would stay at the table for the rest of the evening. There is also a Pool Bar in B Block which would have burgers, chips and kebabs in the afternoon.
There are stations dotted around both Blocks where you can help yourself to hot drinks and juice. All other drinks are available from the Bar, 1 in each Block.
All Inclusive consisted of Efes Beer, Vodka, Wine, Raki, locally produced liquors (Banana, Mint and Amarreto were best) and cocktail of the day.
The Entertainment was on from 7pm till 11pm everyday except sundays. This started with childrens dances for an hour and then usually 2 family acts and a disco. The entertainment was not really english orientated so it was hard to understand at times.
There is 2 pools, The A Block was smaller and mainly for swimming and B Blocks has a slide and they had water sports/fitness activities in the afternoon.
We had no problem getting a sunlounger or deckchair and you are able to get a beach towel from reception each day.
The hotel has its own section on the beach (not sand more like black fine gravel) altho this is very cramped with sunloungers- beware of the fish in the sea they will ram into your feet/legs if you stand still too long.
All of the staff were friendly and polite, only except was the bar staff that hardly spoke and would slide your drinks down the bar to you then serve another person.
The entertainment team were very friendly and encouraged you to jion in with the activites but could be quite persistent at times which could become annoying if you just wanted a quiet, relaxing day.
We had a Turkish Bath in the onsite Spa and it was amazing- definatly worth it! My partner also had a Turkish Shave in the onsite Barbers which was great the staff were so welcoming and honest.
We went on a few of the excursions, the best being the Dalayan River Cruise it was a visit to the mud baths and a river cruise then a stop at turtle beach and it included lunch, Such a lovely day.
The Turkish Night was also a good trip which included a 3 course traditional turkish dinner and show.
The hotel is ideally located on the beachfront which is directly accessed from the hotel and if you walk out the front there is lots of little shops, bars and restaurants.
We had a full english breakfast in Oscars which was resonably priced and very nice, we also went for a meal at Natalie's which was outstanding, absolutley gorgeous food and great service.
We also had serveral visits to the "Red Devils of Manchester" which is a Manchester United themed bar, the staff were really friendly and polite and the atmosphere was amazing. I would highly recommend it especially if there is a football match on.
Overall the holiday was lovely the only downfall was that you couldnt walk along the beachfront at anytime of the day without being constantly hassled, it even got to the point that if you didnt have a drink/meal or buy something they would recognise you the next day and hassle you yet again!!
