We have spent many holidays at Hotel Sunrise over the last 4 years and have always been well satisfied with service and hospitality.

We returned in October from our last 2 week holiday ... again well satisfied. We stayed half-board and food was excellent and very good value. Staff are very attentive and rooms are always cleaned to a very good standard. The hotel itself is spotless .... the staff always working hard to keeping all in order.

We thoroughly recommend using the Turkish Bath and Massage facilities - we have each visit and enjoyed them immensly. Ali (Masseur) is excellent at his job. He is very friendly, experienced and makes everyone welcome. Well worth a visit. Ali too is a great asset to this hotel.

This was my first trip to Turkey. The hotel was quite pleasant although the frontage on the roadsidewas a bit dismal. The location was clean and interesting, especially Netsel Marina and Marmaris Castle. The staff in the restaurant were really attentive and efficient and the food was very good. The position of my balcony enabled me to watch the splendid sunrise every morning whilst drinking my morning tea. There was a kettle in the room but supplies were not replenished after the 1st night. Not a problem, nearby you will find Migros, a huge supermarket where you can get your refreshments and snacks. I highly recommend the day boat trips straight off the jetty.
I would have seriously considered returning for my next holiday in the spring but, after having paid hundreds of £'s for one week (inc single supp) plus £22 for a late check out and tips here there and everywhere as they did not have room accounts. The receptionist demanded payment for the mini bar. I said I havent taken anything. She then accused me of taking a bottle of water and when I denied this, she sent the porter up to the room. He came down with a water bottle and she made him demonstrate to me that the top had been opened (although it was full of water). I said this is not my water and they tried to make me take the bottle. This was so pathetic, I was shocked and very upset by the way she refused to believe that there is no way I would try to cheat the hotel for the price of a bottle of water when I had spent so much there. Needless to say I didnt hand her the £10 tip I was holding in my hand!

Stayed in this hotel end of September for 10 nights B&B.
Really nice hotel, receptionist staff OK the rest of the staff are really friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was good with a variety of breads, hot/cold foods.
Pool area nice & well kept.
The only downside to the hotel is the hotel next doors shocking music which starts around lunchtime and takes away any piece and quiet, if someone had some wire cutters to sort next doors speakers they would be well rewarded I'm sure.....
Good location with great transport links in to centre plus first class restaurant over the road from the hotel.
Would certainly recommend and would go back with no hesitation.

My husband and I stayed at Sunrise for 2 weeks in September. This our 3rd visit to this hotel and once again did not disappoint us. Hotel is kept extremely clean in all areas. Staff are all very friendly and remembered us from the minute we walked in. The new addition of tea making faclities and turkish delete was lovely, best turkish delight I have tasted. The food is exceptional, especially the breakfasts and the barbeque nights. Excellent band that played on the barbeque nights.
The hotel next door the Dora did play music but it was never that loud that it spoilt our relaxing days by the pool. Sunbeds are always freely availble, however if you want the best spot, sun facing for most of the day we did have to get up rather early to place our towels on the sunbed.
We loved sitting at the pool bar for a couple of drinks at night before going out. All the bar staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you.
Our favourite place to eat was Samdans across the road from the hotel and once again a lot of the staff recognised us. The food is amazing, plenty of choice to suite eveyones tastes. I have not been disappointed with any meal here after about 20 visits. Hello to TJ and all the staff. We also ate at the Oh Yes restaurant which is on the front halfway between the Sunrise and Marmaris Harbour again we couldnot fault the food. Try the chicken casserole its to die for.
As this is our third trip to Marmaris we have done a lot of trips, this year we booked a trip to Epheseus and Pamuaakle with Thomsons. It included an overnight stay in a 5* hotel. What an amazing trip the whole experience was amazing including the tour guide Yousef who made the trip so enjoyable and interesting.
If your looking for a really good night out take a walk up to top of Icmeler and go and see a brilliant drag artist called Stella. What a funny and entertaining night.
We are looking at coming back to this hotel next year again and we cant wait.
