it was myself and a friend who went on a two week holiday in july2011, this was not our first choice howeve there was an issue with the first apartments and it was either this or a way back in the mountains. the room its self was basic, the air conditioning was only in the 'living room'. which made the bedroom unbareable. wouldnt dream of using any of the dishes, we went out and bought our own drinking glasses and just ate out all the time. the staff were very annoying. one of them - mustafa, took a shining to my frien and wouldnt take no for an answer, he was also extremly rude to me as i was the one to tell him she wasnt interested, another one call gemi i thing is more than creepy. avoide them at all costs, kept trying to get us to go dancing with them, we were very polite and told them we were going with a group of waiters we had made friends with but they were more than welcome to come. got very agressive and called us not very nice names. the pool only gets sun until 2ish every day and gets cold in the shade.our room was directly above the bar are, balcony over looking the top of the bar. we couldnt get any sleep cause the music was played right into the early hours of the morning.

Well this was our second visit to turkey,our first stay at the OLive .We did look at all the reviews,so was not sure to expect.Our room was301 it was basic what we expected but was cleen We had daily room service all floors washed and sheets and towels changed on request.Some of the other guests complained about every thing but when they went home the complaints almost stopped.Eating out is very good value for money.Charlies Place is a must all friendly staff and will give u alift after meal.All trips well organised booked from DellBoy on the water ffont 4 trips for 50£.Our holiday for 14 nights cost less than 290£ so all in all was good value for money.The Olive does need some updating but this does reflect in the price,and it wlii not put us going back to sunny Turkey.

My friend & I stayed here September 2011, it was my first time in Turkey & it turned out to be the best holiday I have ever had & plan on returning. It's true that you get what you pay for.... as clean & tidy as I would expect for any basic self catering rooms in a foreign country, the apartment was tidy, the beds were clean, we had to ask for clean towels which were given without a problem as I've had to do in other places ive stayed, great view from the top, friendly helpfull staff with great a sense of humour :) Your holiday is what you make it... if you want the Ritz then pay for it!!! Me and my friend stayed here for a week in September 2011, we had a great time and plan to go back next year! Lots of people complained about the tv, cooker and it being dirty etc!! i don't understand this we didnt have a problem! who goes on holiday to sit in their room and watch tv and cook? seriously?? The room was basic but thats all you need. The room and bed was clean and all the people working in the hotel were really nice and friendly! I found it was most of the guests who were miserable and had no sense of humour! i'm sorry but the hotel was clean and no i dont want to watch tv! YOUR HOLIDAY IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT!!!!!!!
