just got back from the mar soleil apart yesterday , and all i can say is that the aprtments ar kept realy clean and the staff are brill, i would go back to these apartments anytime

These apartments are clean tidy and run by lovely people ..so friendly definitely coming back. Thanks to all that made this a good holiday. Nothing was a problem to anyone that worked there Thanks Mehmet and staff

Just got back from two weeks at the Mar Soleil, first time in Turkey. All the staff were really helpful and very friendly. Apartments are basic, no tv's (which I loved!) but very large and kept really clean by the lovely maids. There are plenty of sunbeds around the pool area, which is cleaned each night. The pool is big enough and has a slide which my kids loved. Will take eardrops and earplugs next time though as a lot of people (us included) got ear infections. The bar area is great for eating or just relaxing with a drink and a game of pool, everything was resonably priced.
You need air con as it was between 40 and 50 degrees each day. This is extra as is a safe deposit box. We had a two bedroom apartment and the air con unit was in the twin room. We just moved all the kids into the front room and left all the doors open within the apartment which did stay nice and cool when we were in there. Although this wasn't a problem for us, it is something to bear in mind.
The apartments are situated about five-ten minutes walk from the beach, and about five-ten minutes from lots of restraunts. An excellent location, just close enough to what you want in the evening but in a quiet area.
There is so much to do around Marmaris lots of trips and activities which are all resonably priced. My advice, talk to the boat owners at the harbour and shop around for day trips.
Will definately be re-booking for 2011.

Recently got back from our stay in Mar Soleil Apartments and it was fantastic. Staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for you.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was very spacious and clean. Maids were in every day and were lovely ladies :))
Didn't know what 2 expect after reading some of these reviews b4 we went but i can honestly say it was well worth the money and would go back 2 these apartments again.
My kids are 9 and 7 and it was their 1st time in Turkey and they loved it. The pool was cleaned out every night and chute was a blessing lol. Kept kids happy :))
