I stayed at this hotel with my niece for one week in Aug / Sept. It was really nice. The staff were very nice and we had such a laugh with them. The food was nice with pleny choice. I loved the home made soups, a different kind every day. I had some local wine, provided with the all inclusive package and surprisingly it was really nice. The hotel was lovely and clean and the pool area was kept spotless. We treated ourselves to a Turkish bath in the hotel. There were different options but after reading a previous review and being told the deluxe one was well worth the money we took the all singing all dancing one. 3 hours of pampering and it was fantastic. I would definitely recommend it. Harry will tell you all about it, he is lovely and his Scottish accent is real good !! lol.
The entertainment in the hotel was very limited but there are plenty bars with music within easy walking distance.
The Thomas cook rep was not good. Scaring people into booking trips with her rather than at the many agents you could book the same trips at and much cheaper. She said there had been people killed on some trips booked with them and Thomas cook insurance would not cover you if you booked trips with them. She was more interested in arranging her own social life than helping people.
The dive trip was a con. A quick dive to take loads of photo's and a video of you and you had to buy the lot you could not buy just one or two. Lunch was a very dry roll with cheese. Not even a drink to go with it. Drinks on the boat were expensive.
Bobby Kent's drag show was a hoot and well worth going to.
All in all we had a great time. The weather was great and we met some lovely people.

We found this a very good hotel
It was very clean, the food was delicious, the service was friendly and the entertainment was great!
In short, nothing was too much staff and we were really at our beck and call
I hope to go back here next year

It was my first time in turkey and I really hope not the last

I stayed at hotel ideal pearl (21 august - 4 september) with my friend and her family. when we arrived after 12 hours of travelling (birmingham airport waiting, flight, transfer etc) we were all shattered and hungry. so we went to the bar and they charged us 25TL for 6 coca colas! we though our all inclusive wristbands would cover that...maybe not. from 11-12pm there is a soup bar, so we had some what we thought was tomato soup, it tasted like pure mint sauce, which was awful.
only thing you cannot fault in august september time in turkey is the WEATHER! it was soooooo lovely and really hot you couldnt sunbathe for more than half hour without sweating.
the food, it was edible...repetitive, but edible! but what do you expect from all inclusive?being only 16, i lived off chips all holiday :). the selection was small, but it was okay.
entertainment of a night was shocking. their so called 'shows' lasted for 20 minutes maximum each night, and every week it was the same thing. monday show time, tuesday turkish night (bellydancing was fun) wednesday cant remember:p thursday quiz night, they played 15 songs and you had to guess them, wow. friday was show night, saturday was karaoke. also a lot of fun :)! sunday was a day off.

the hotel in itself was small but immaculate. you cant fault the cleanliness of the hotel. the staff were very friendly also!

this hotel is probably best for couples, not so much families cos us kids were very bored at night, luckily we made friends though. we went out to bars along the beach i recommend blackpool bar, drag shows and everything hilarious for a night out!:)

i would rate this hotel a 3 star definately. the only thing that let it down was food and entertainment.

My boyfriend and I are just back from a 2week stay at hotel ideal pearl and we both had an amazing time! The service from the staff in the hotel was great, we were treated like royalty, everytime our glasses were empty we had another drink on our table within minutes! The staff were very welcoming and friendly, they treated you as if they knew you all their lives! It made it feel so much better. No matter what time you got up you still managed to get a sunbed which was great! The rooms were everything you expect a hotel room to be, we were definitely not disappointed with them, and the maids were very polite and always said hello! The room was spotless every evening we came up from the pool. Everything you needed to know the staff at reception made sure to find out or help you! Pay phones are a two second walk from the hotel which was great as phoning from mobiles would cost a fortune. The hygiene in the hotel is definitely a 5* there is always a member of staff cleaning and the lobby is gleaming! All the turkish people were very friendly in the shops, we met so many lovley turkish friends! The only dissapointment for us both was leaving the hotel, we could of stayed another 2weeks, we will definitely be back!! Best holiday ever!
