I go to Marmaris twice a year and i always stay at Club Ako. The services is excellent and all the staff are friendly and helpful.
I always stay in a 1 bedroom apartment when i am there and the rooms are nice and big, I go self catering and all the facilitors are perfect.
Its only a 10 mintue walk to the beach and all that Marmaris has to offer.
For me, staying at Club Ako is like being at home.

we came back to club ako again 4 weeks this time it was once again excelent the guys there are about the best you can get , the help they gave me and my wife [who is wheelchair bound ] was out of this world , sure , there is a ramp to the apartments , but these guys make short work of it , as soon as we appear , they are there any time of day or nite to get us in or out , also the shower room is good size for use by wheelchairs , and the rooms are very sizeable , clean and comfortable well done CLUB AKO once again

I had been to Turkey before and had experienced both good and bad stays but I had never been to Marmaris before, so was a bit reticent as to what to expect. I was not disappointed!! When we arrived we were aghast to be told our booking had been cancelled but upon a further check - they found it had not, so we were put into a small studio apartment for the first night to await the apartment we had paid for to be made ready the next day. The next day we moved into our correct apartment and the staff could not have been more helpful. They were excellent. The location of the Apartments is ideal for people of all ages, whether a family, couple, elderly, single, or a gang of friends. It is not too far from the tourist hotspots and good restaurants of Marmaris but far enough to be nice and quiet. The food at the Apartments is more expensive than some of the local eateries but at the end of the day, you pay for what you get. I would rather pay a little more and get freshly made salads and cooked food so I was not disappointed with the restaurant at all. Air conditioning is reasonably priced but I did think the safety deposit box (at GBP3 per day thus GBP42 for 2 weeks) should be included in the overall price. After all, the safety of guests and their belongings should be of paramount importance to any holiday organisation and to charge extra for safety and security is something holiday companies and complexes need to examine more closely. Showers were a bit ´hit and miss´and ran either scorching hot or freezing cold but this is common to Turkey due to water pressure and solar heated water, so it was expected and the freezing cold shower was sometimes welcome after a day near the pool. The pool was excellent with plenty of sunbeds to go around (so there was no need for certain nations to ´reserve´their sunbeds by putting their towels out at midnight!!). The staff were excellent, very helpful and the cleaning staff were great. Towels were changed regularly and rooms and balconies were cleaned throughly, with bed linen being changed regularly. I only have one main criticiism and this is that once the initial toilet roll was used, it was not replaced and each extra one cost TL1. Normally, self-catering includes, basic hygiene provisions like linen, towels AND toilet rolls. A minor point I know, but one that I have not experienced in any other self-catering apartment complex in any other resort in Turkey or any other country. I would recommend the Turkish Night barbecue as it was excellent value and a lot cheaper than the one the holiday Rep and booths in the town were selling. All in all, an excellent holiday at a great place. I would highly recommend this apartment complex to everyone and would not hesitate to use it again. In fact, I may well do so next year. I give this place overall, 10 out of 10.

Never been to turkey before, and was abit unsure about how it would be! But after hearing marmaris was the new place to go and good value for money we decided to go here. We are a young couple and after reading reviews for many hotels, ako hotel reviews were all good, so we decided to book here and got a good price! We finally arrived to the hotel at silly oclock in the morning, at first we thought we were in the middle of no where as the hotel is in a little side street but most hotels in marmaris are like this. We couldn't really see are whereabouts due to it being in the middle of the night! We were greeted from our transfers and they were very welcoming, they checked us in and took our cases to our rooms! The hotel is very basic, but CLEAN and has everything you need! In the morning we woke up and went downstairs too find out our whereabouts, we were greeted by all the staff including jez and the canadian commander! They were great and wouldn't be the same without them! The staff do anything they can to ensure you have an amazing holiday! We met so many lovely people here and had such a great holiday! The food in the hotel is AMAZING! In terms of nightlife the hotel provides entertainment including BBQ night which is beautiful,turkish dancers,break-dancers,belly-dancers and karaoke nights! The staff are amazing here and thats why we had such a great time! Booking here for next year so JEZ you best still be there!!! See you all soon (kaisha and mark) xxx
