Turkey was amazing, the hotel staff was the biggest let down!
on arrival no one helped with luggage until asked. no clean towels were provided unless asked for!
the staff were rude and abnoxious. on our 4th night they 'misplaced' our room key and accused us of never handing it in at reception. we clearly had handed it in but they accused us of losing it. we questioned them and asked them to go through the security camera footage, this was easy for them as we knew the exact times of leaving the hotel. they said they couldnt do this as the security room was locked and no one could open it until 10.30pm, this was clearly a lie as the security guard was there at the time! we were given a spare key to get into our room- which was fine, apart from the fact that everyother room key was attached on the same key ring. we had access to every room!!! the level of security is appauling. we left the hotel and went straight back as we had forgotten something, much to our suprise-the room key was in the compartment where they keep all keys behind the reception desk!!! when questioned, the staff said someone had handed it in 15mins ago. we had been talking to the hotel staff at the reception desk 5 mins ago so they were clearly lying.
the libra rep was very uncooperative, had no tone in her voice, cracked the same lame jokes, didnt even try to help, ignored us when we said we had a complaint and made no eye contact. she spoke and giggled with the hotel staff in turkish after they told us never to come back to their hotel again. i would not recommend this hotel to anyone!
