Great holiday location tucked away from Marmaris but your able to take a water bus ride to Marmaris and be there in 20mins. The staff were friendly and helpful they will try to accommodate any request and provide positive encouragement no matter what sport you try. The resort has a good range of equiptment to choose from and they will help you with everything if need be. You can do a vast range of sports on the water, or on the land. Its an opportunity to learn to sail a yatch, motorboat, water ski, wind surf, sail a dingy or canoe around the bay. The location of the resort means there are light winds in the morning for the beginners and stronger in the afternoon for the more experienced. They will make it fun for all ages and abilities. The children are cared for in a safe area and its easy to see where they are during the day and evening. As the resort is self contained they are safe to go and try the sports themselves, or they can enjoy the company of their peers in the various clubs where they will cover the whole range of activities. Our special thanks would be to Cadie who welcomes you so warmly at reception on arrival and keeps you informed of everything going on all the water ski team, Nick on the yatchs, Abraham on the motor boats and Phil who looked after the Surf squad this week. He is usually with the water ski team and proved it when he gave us a spectacular display of his waterski abilities. The food was very good lots of fresh fish salads and different cooked meals there is only one hour in the day that food and drinks are not accessable. It is a small resort but seems to have everything for everyone. The rooms are within easy walking distance of the central area so you can pop back and forth easily. The resort is clean and well maintained with areas to socialise or just be tucked away basking in the sun and admiring the view. The resort a credit to all the staff who are young enthusiastic friendly and good fun. Having been with Mark Warner and Club Med before we can say with certainty that this resort topped them all in every way. Thank you we had a totally brilliant holiday.

As usual the facilities and staff were fabulous, but I do agree with previous reviewers about the hard beds and the lack of ways to get off the island. I'm sure Neilson will address these (mattress toppers, and boat trips to smaller resorts than the ghastly Marmaris?) and then it will get an Excellent.

And they are right; considering it didn't exist at the beginning of the year Neilson have worked wonders. The road in is rough & very steep & bendy but they are working on it. The accomodation is clean comfortable and airy, the food is excellent, well prepared a variety of choices- There is so much that its impossible to stick to any form of diet. the waiters are extra efficient and helpful, in fact All of the staff are friendly helpful and good at their jobs. The sporting facilities available are excellent and the equipment is well maintained. We did a flotilla week followed by a week at the base and it was great. Oh and there is a ferry from the base to Marmaris if you really want to go there!

This resort was disappointing. The resort itself was very attractive with stunning views and the rooms were great, except for one thing - the beds are rock hard, it was actually painful sleeping in them. After a few days my back and hips werereally hurting and many other guests were saying the same.
The resort provides a boat across to Marmaris (not a great resort) but there is no pleasant way to walk offf the property. The roads are unfinished and very steep. Ok when walking up but quite treacherous when walking back down. So you're kinda stuck there.Of course Neilsons provide plenty of activities but l do like to walk.
The Neilsons staff are a great bunch and really make the holiday.
The food is pretty good and plenty of it.
The kids clubs are brilliant if you have youngsters.
So l wil return to a Neilsons resort next year but not this one.
