My husband and I stayed at the Ertur for 9 days mid September. Pool area is lovely and plenty of suns beds. We have been to Marmaris 3 times and It was so nice to stay somewhere peaceful (no music) and not have music blaring from the bar all day until midnight and bar staff acting around and generally being a nuisance. The staff were polite and generally kept themselves to themselves which suited us.
We stayed on B & B basis and breakfast was basic but kept us going in the mornings and consisted of eggs, bread, salami, cheese, jam, honey and coffee. This was initially self service, but near the end of our holiday was plated up as only 7 residents at the hotel. We only had one snack at lunch time, omelette and salad with chips which was nice and reasonably priced. Beer was 5tl a little more than in most local bars. Two litre water was 2tl.
Rooms were clean and towels changed about 4 times during our stay and bedding changed 3 times. We had pool side room which was basic, but very clean with balcony.
We would definately stay at the Ertur Hotel again. It was 7/8 minutes walk to the beach and promenade. Twenty five minutes walk to the harbour. We found a good local bar 2/3 minutes walk away - go left out of the hotel and walk at the side of the canal and bar is on your right on corner of street with shop nextdoor. Owner was called Eric and I think the bar was called Turge (not sure of spelling). Lovely fresh food/snacks and lovely coffee.
Only negatives I would say is a kettle would be useful in the room and some of the sun beds need replacing as they are past their best and could not be adjusted due to being broken.
