We stayed in the ilayda from the 5th-16th september this year! Me and my fiancé had a lovely time. The room was lovely and clean and the cleaner was fantastic!
I wouldn't recommend eating here tho as the food is rubbish we paid 30tl each for the Turkish night but food and entertainment was crap!
Also if you are not a group of single girls do expect to be acknowledged by the staff around the pool!
We went to Trotters bar loads of times which is only 5 minutes down the road! It had a wicked atmosphere and always made us feel welcome! Especially Memhet who goes by the name Martin! Would defo recommend there for a night out!! The Turkish bath is a must do it propa wicked!! Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would definatley recommend marmaris!!

this hotel was a god send to me an my friend as we got moved to this hotel from the worse hotel ever goin, club llayda was very clean, brill air con great staff that loved a laugh it has a shop over the road the best night club in turkey in walking distance lots an bars an restaurants like 2 mins away, entertainment everynight in the hotel...so to the people how are moanin about his hotel must b picking silly little faults i loved this hotel its all english aswell i tell ppl to stay here

our family of 5 went to turkey first time - 2 teenagers 16, 14 and 5 year old , two adults- where do i start. I want to give people a true reflection of this accommodation. We arrived approx 5 oclock in the mornin - takin to our accomm room 414 across the road didnt realise how bad until the next mornin - we were on the ground floor down a very long dark corridor - two teenage sons had to sleep on a sofa which were extremely old and hard and hollow in the middle. We woke to find that we were looking out at shrubland which was full of cats and extremely unkept - an old bicycle was lyin totally rusted - inside the apartment it was appauling curtains falling of the rail , verey basic self catering - two rings which would take forever to heat up - the bathroom was very dirty especially around the shower area - it would need a good scrubbin with bleach , the apartment was the darkest place i have ever been - it was like goin back to a prison cell no natura light got in at all - had to pay £50 for two wks air con - only air condition in one bedroom and also had to pay £10 a week for tv . We complained to rep a guy who in fairness did try and help us the guy on reception didnt want to know - rep recommended we try different hotels - surely that shd have been his job - but he was on two days leave and left us to deal with the rep who was on the next day - a lady rep who didnt have a clue we were left to fight our battle with reception and were moved five days into our hol - to a second floor apt on the second floor but two flights of stairs extremely slippy and spiralled a danger to walk on - counted at least four people having accidents - forgot to mention we missed welcome meeting with rep we only got in at five and meetin was at 11 - we were still asleep - bar and restuarant staff not very nice - first nite bar manager nearly forced us to go to barbecue nite which was a total disaster - food horrible and not worth 90 lira - we always like to try different venues for food and because we didnt eat at the restuarant the staff were unfriendly towards us we did spend money during the day for drinks and icecream - entertainment staff were a joke water polo every day - how exciting if you were not in their group didnt want to know - bingo was a joke they tried to mimick the northern irish accent - there was no shallow end in the pool so it was not suitable unless u were a good swimmer - loads of people holding on the sides including myself . Our new appartment in the hotel block was uch nicer and more modern and clean - maid service was very good very friendly and were there every day. We enjoyed the restaurants - especially the palace and Parkhead (Celtic Bar). Parkhead was brillant food and entertainment and very nice staff . It was annoyin to walk on the street you were totally bombarded by restaurants tryin to get u into their restaurant - they would actually follow u down the road - shoppin was not pleasurable either - i deffo wouldnt would go in without my husband , totally hassled - the market in marmaris on thursday was a waste of time nothing different than the shops. The childrens park with the mini golf and games was good - our five year old enjoyed this.

im nervous about travelling as it is and my first impression at 5.30am when we arrived at club ilyda wasnt great. the venue was sold as a family resort but it soon became apparent that groups of young people were among us and they caused no end of nuisance. the security staff werent up to dealing with them and the rep wasnt much better. nights were long, noisy and hot and it wasnt til our second week it settled down and we could relax. the venue was reasonably clean and considering the regular turnover it was in a good state of repair. the pool was great although there were quite a lot of injuries on the water slide. not the fault of the slide but the idiots not using it properly. the staff did their best hough some of the waiters were annoying and lecherous around any woman even if their husband or boyfriend were with them. they also had a bad habit of forgetting who bought what drinks and would target the wrong people for payment. a few days before we left our kids wanted to go home and to be honest so did their parents. i think we would possibly go back to club ilyda as when you look about marmaris you see quite a lot of terrible looking hotels and we thanked god we at least did better than some folk.
