I travelev with my partner to this hotel paying £800 for a 3 day weekend break to what was sold as a 5* hotel all inclusive.
The rooms where mouldy, the furniture was broken, the rooms where dirty, the bathroom was corroded and had fungus growing in them.
There was not bed linen and no pillows.
We had to request them, they fetched the cusions that had been in the reception which stunk of incense smoke.
I ask to see other rooms, they where so damp, the ceiling and walls in there where black with mould and I mean totally covered.
I think they where trying to show me I had the best room and I shoul dnot complain.
The sun bed loungers where tatty and torn. The all inclusive was barron and basic like bread and a pile of boiled eggs for breakfast.
I have never in the course of my life have I ever had to check myself out of a hotel and I'm a man and even in my youth where I had no money and could only afford 1* have I ever had to do that.
I tried to ring england and it was the night and noone was answering.
I check myself into a 5* in ichmiller which cost £40 a night which was fantastic so why £800 pound wasnt enough to have 3 days in a real 5* is beyond me.
I contacted completetravel and they blame a company they use called low cost beds,
I purchased my holiday from complete travel but they would take no responsability, they only wanted to take the profit from the transaction,
Low cost beds said that the mould and state of the room did not factor into what they call rating of 5 * but it was the amienaties, which still where absolute appauling.
I asked for the reinbursement for the cost of the hotel I moved to so I was being very lienient as I only wanted the extra cost it cost me to actually get back what I shoul dhave purchased n the first place.
They refused to pay my then 2 night stay at the fantasia hotel which is a fantastic hotel by the way.
I was asking for a total of £160 for the two of us for the two nights it cost to put right the situation.
They refused and kept refusing.
The company who sold us (complete travle) just blamed low cost beds and low cost beds just said see complete travel.
To this date there has been no resolution and no compensation.
Do not use these companies and do not book this hotel unless you want to send your ex partner to and absolute hell hole as if you go with your current partner she will soon becoem your ex, learn from my experience here, I tell if has it is with no exageration.

This hotel is most definately nowhere near a 5* rating. To be honest we didnt pay a fortune for this hotel so couldnt complain because everyone knows you pay for what you get, but the hotel is a joke. We arrived at 4-5 in the morning and i when we walked into this place, i felt like crying, its just awful, so dated.What annoyed me the most was that we were told we'd be going to the other litera beach resort, which was aload of rubbish, this is something they obviously do regularly,basically send you to the cheap crappy version. The one thing we can say, is that the hotel did its job for us, somewhere to put your head and enjoy turkey, because we loved the country... wouldnt stay in marmaris again tho!! The hotel food was disgusting and we ate out most nights. If your looking to stay in your hotel and have a luxury holiday, do not choose this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DONT BE FOOLED!!!!!!!! we booked this holiday as 5 star the rooms are so dirty, we a had a dead bug on our bathroom floor that was still there when we left, yes i know we could of removed it but we thought we would see how long it would be before the cleaning staff went into the bathroom to clean it . during our 10 day we had 2 rooms because the first one the doorlock did not work and was full of mould the second room we got was worse we had a hair dryer that swiched it self on( i say a hair dryer more like a travel dryer) not the fan part but the heating element glowed i had to phone reception 3 time. we was stuck in our room for over 3 hour waiting for the repair man to come my wife an i was have bets which would be first the room going up in flames or the repair man getting to our room. by the way it was the repair man only just
THE MOULD the bathrooms was covered and there was some on the bedroom walls and on our last day we lifted the the valence to find that the bedbase was covered in mould i could go on and on how dirty the room was but just to say it made my wife cry every time she went in the room and she is not one who cries easily
ARE YOU FIT? cos you will have be. to get to our room there was 125 steps and 2 steap slopes and our room was only on the middle tear thank god we never had a room on the top tear i would of had a heart attack, when we went to breakfast it was a case of what do we need for the day and take it with us as that climb was a killer but if you are young and very fit or a mountian goat it should not be problem
THE STAFF front desk manager was very helpful the staff in the restaurant we could not fault as for the rest of the staff we fould to be very slap dash
You may ask why did we not move ? we tried and after 3 days of phone calls back to england we were no closer to getting out of there so we thought we would stick it out and try to make the best of the time we had left in turkey and when i go back to england i had another shock when i phone bill came in it was over £200
AS FOR THE BEACH it is next to non exsitant
all we heard was that people was going the complain being missoled there holiday as everyone there seemed to of booked there holiday as 5 star i have how seen in the teletext web site the the owners rating is down to 4 star they still need to drop it 2 more stars at least

in short this is a very dirty 2 star site in my opinion if you have booked this place for a for a holiday cancel it and get your money back

i do not have a good word at all about this hotel it was a joke! even though we paid £300 for the holiday but some people had paid over £1000.

Firsty our 1st night there we were dropped off at 7pm and i thought they had got it wrong or the bus had broken down..... it was awful. The hotel is pink and blue, really dated and looks like it has never been painted.. the pics on the internet are all FAKE!!!!! we were promised bungalows at the side of the beach, the beach was a 20minute walk away and we were in hotel rooms (nothing what we were promised or what it looks like in the holiday brochures)

my first night there i had my phone stolen by the security and also 2nights after someone elses phone went missing. the security do not have any problems with walking into your room. another lovely couple we met had the security follow them to the room and the security locked himself in the hotel room with the lady kicking her partner out. the manager of the hotel is disgusting and his behaviour is unappropriate as he was not interested. teh manager was also calling me and my friend to the other guests.

The food was ridiculous, we ended up eating out every night. the only meal which was ok was the morning the chef cooked fresh omlettes. People were asking to change hotels during their stay and i did not hear one person in the hotel with anything possitive to say.

Apart from the hotel the area in which the hotel was in was fabulous and everyone was really friendly. we met loads of friends who owned the turkish bars. The best bar was Amedious bar at the end, all night fun and really cheap.

Do not stay in the Litera, but i would recommend the area!!
