Having read a few previous reviews, I was slightly worried while booking this hotel. Needlessly. It is a charming and cosy hotel situated in the heart of Marmaris yet in a quiet location.

Advantages:
- 5 min to the beach, 15 to the Bar Street, 1 min to a local market. Perfect location!
- It is very clean - cleaned every day.
- The staff is lovely and really friendly. They are happy to talk to everyone if needed or stay aside when not needed. They certainly made me feel like at home. I felt cared about and safe. I did not notice any favouritism, they were happy to sit and chat with all the guests, young, old, male and female alike.
- Breakfast. I loved it! I see people complain that all you can get is some bread, olives, cheese, cucumber, eggs and melon. I say yummy, bring it on! If you are going to Turkey, please take into account eating Turkish breakfast. If you want an English one, stay in England. In Turkey, enjoy a bit of a local flavour! Or book a 4-5 star hotel with a wider selection and do not complain here.
- Comfy beds.
- Bargain price.

Disadvantages:
- Rooms are tiny. But hey, it is a two star hotel, you are getting what you are paying for!
- Hotel is very simple and yes, the shower in not seperated from the toiled. But again, I have travelled to Turkey three times and it has always been the case in the hotels I stayed at. That's how the bathrooms are constructed in Turkey.
- It is loud. Some hotels next door play really loud music so bring your earplugs!
- The swimming pool is tiny and certainly does not have a wow factor. But it does the job and with a beach situated 5 min down the road, no one should complain!

To conclude, I would recommend this place for people who want to stay in a cheap, chirpy and clean hotel, they know it is a two star one and are happy with it. I would love to get back!

I have just returned from marmaris,having read these reviews after booking i went with very few expectations.We only paid £500 for 2 weeks in the height of summer so i was not expecting the hilton!I really enjoyed the turkish breaffast and i appericiate it's not everyones cup of tea but you can get a full english around the corner at 'the Palace' for only £1.00!The swimming pool is small with only 9 sunbeds but we never had a problem getting one as it was too hot to sit out all day so people only tended to use them for a couple of hours.We found the staff to be brilliant we would usually have a last drink in the hotel and the hotel staff knew you by name and were only too pleased to sit and chat and ask you about your day/night that one drink would turn into a couple! Rooms are small and so is the bathroom but your only sleeping there so how big do you want it!We never ate in the hotel as there is such ahuge choice of restaurants which offer fantastic deals.When you are booking trips don't make the mistake that we did by booking up on the first day when your still a bit wet behind the ears!And make sure they write the name of boat /trip you are going on on the ticket! Sounds simple but we booked with Atilla the first man standing as you approach the harbour where we booked a boat trip on the aquariam and we paid £20 all inc for this as we were told big boat was better, however on day of trip we were ushered on to the smaller boat of 'sunsine' and when i looked on my ticket it just said boat trip so i had little come back,when we asked people on sunshine how much they had paid they all said £10 so we were a little miffed, however we did go to the police and the man that sold us the tickets was told to give us our money back or put us on another boat trip this was quite a bit of hassle and this is a long story cut short! So shop around for your trips and stir clear of Attilla!On the whole Marmaris offers something for everyone and is a really friendly place and stop at the star it's cheap but very cheerfull!

I stayed in the hotel for 14 days and had a nice holiday.Of course there are better hotels than this,but I just paid Euro 13.50.It included a normal turkish breakfast and aircondition.For a two-star hotel the bed was very comfortable.The bathroom could be better with shower seperate from the toiletfloor.

We booked this holiday 12 months in advance and was told it was a good place to stay well that is the understatement of the year it was absolutely disgusting.There was water running down walls and iside on the stairs which was very dangerous any could have been killed.The rooms were so small it was like being in a rabbit hutch.The restaurant was filthy ,one member of staff stood on the tables bare foot to water plants never changed table cloths in fact we was there for 2 weeks and table linen was never changed.Staff was very anti British and verbally abusive.We was suppose to have bed and breakfast but for three mornings there was nothing,and when there was turkish breakfast it was infested with ants.No hot water for days.A place to avoid if you want a good holiday
