We stayed at Club Evin for the 2nd and 3rd weeks of October mainly based on reviews on T/A and our expectations were well and truely met !
We were well looked after for 2 weeks in a hotel that apparently is rated 2 star ?????
General cleanliness was excellent especially in our room where we regularly had clean sheets and towels .
A spacious pool area with plenty of beds and good service from the bar.
The owner Memhet made a point of regularly checking everything was ok and we were happy with our stay, even apologising when we had a couple days of rain !
Location is excellent with only a 10 minute stroll to the beach, and 15 minutes to the centre.
BUT here are the 2 main positives when staying at the Evin.........

1) The chef in the hotel Alice restaurant who consistantly dishes up a large selection of superb meals. Due to a few nights of rain we ate at the Alice 4 times and could not fault it in any way ! Very fresh very tasty and all at very reasonable prices so well done !

2) The fantastic Dot in reception for who nothing was too much trouble. Always a cheery smile and chat . Great local knowledge and advice on where to go and what to see. I happened to mention it was a shame we couldn't see the pool from our balcony ( it was not a complaint ) and 48 hours later she offered us a free upgrade from our studio appartment to a family room with a balcony overlooking the pool FANTASTIC AND THANK YOU !
I suffered an ear infection and Dot was there as ever to give advice on which chemists were open as it was a Sunday and how to get there ( even if when I returned soaked after being caught in a downpour she spent the next 10 minutes laughing )
Dot was ever present throughout our stay even arranging entertainment in the bar of an evening still managing her cheery smile THANK YOU !

All in all a fantastic stay......would we recommend YES .......would we return......YES

My boyfriend and I stayed her for a week at the beginning of September and had a great time. The holiday was an absolute bargain and we had expected the place to be a bit of a dive which wasn't the case at all.

SERVICE: The staff are so friendly there. You are able to order drinks etc. around the pool all day and choose as and when you settle your bill. We waited till the last day and paid it all at once, but I know others who did it each day or every cople of days so you didn't need to worry about having cash on you around the pool.

VALUE: The holiday was an absolute bargain. The hotel itself at times did seem more expensive for food than other places but as it is self-catering you could easily go to Kippa (their version of Tesco) and buy things in for breakfast etc.

SLEEP QUALITY: We slept fine. It was two single beds which wasn't ideal but it wasn't noisy at all.

LOCATION: It is a little bit of a walk from the hotel to the beach front of Marmaris (ladies...not a walk you want to do in heals!) but it only takes around 10 - 15 minutes. We were so happy to stay by the pool during the day as the beach itself isn't great. So in an evening there was the choice of walking down to the beach front or staying up near where the hotel was. We didn't have one bad meal in all the nights we went out.

HOTEL/ROOMS: I'm not going to lie, the rooms are tiny and very basic, but that's all they need to be. They are fine. We had a small balcony that we enjoyed having breakfast on. The hotel was great in regards to lying by the pool. Any time of day you went down, 7am/11am/2pm etc. there was always a sun lounger available...none of this towels on beds at 6am rubbish!

For those looking for a really fin holiday I would so reccomend coming here. If you're after 5*...good luck finding that in Turkey anyway! I would certainly say to friends and family looking for a bargain holiday to come here.

The previous comments say it all. could not fault it. Food, cleanliness, and how friendly the staff were was just great. Will be back next year.

stayed at club evin 18th to the 25th october well were do i start,the pool was great ,good size clean,loads of loungers the resturant area inside and out were well presented and spotlessly
clean due to the staff working non stop the lads were great except the sweaty sock alister lol the bosses son ali was great constantly giveing us shots and after a mix up with my tab gave us the biggest vodkas ever this guy and his staff really know how to look after you ,dot on reception was really helpfull giveing advice and help if required ,the food was really nice and great value the rooms were great we asked to be moved to a studio not a problem, view before you move great view of pool and mountain backset ,the cleaners are great i tipped them every day came back to find roses in the room and rose petals over the bed nice touch bed linnen changed every day and fresh towels nothing was too much trouble at club evin rated as 2* wot a joke this hotel is up there with some of the 4/5* hotels weve stayed in and would recommend to all will be back nxt year
