I stayed at this hotel with 2 friends for a week on 20th July. We realised how well located it was from the airport run, think we chose well in respect to how close it was to everything especially seeing some of the places others were dropped at.
Hotel itself is very basic but as others say how long are you in your room? We left our air conditioning on overnight and it was rather cool, could have done with an extra sheet. Pool area is lovely, we always managed to get sun loungers. One criticism would be there aren't enough umbrellas, there was a heatwave at 45 and I developed an allergy to the sun and needed to be in the shade for a couple of days
Yes it's true about the birds in the restaurant but the bread and food is covered, other diners leave it open. Also staff are friendly and hard working but they constantly remove your plates, glasses etc which becomes incredibly annoying after a couple of days! The food is ok, i enjoyed it all and there was plenty of it. I was a bit dissapponted with the drinks though, it wasn't orange/pineapple juice - it's all squash but the coffee was nice and the water was safe to drink.
The bar was a big let down too, it closed at 11 and the only drinks included in the all inclusive were wine, beer and their own Vodka or Gin! So we went out every night.
My biggest moan is that we didn't appreciate the nightly telephone calls from reception telling us to' go to sleep now'!!! We were't loud and had our door closed and were just sitting in bed chatting after a night out!!!
All in all I had a great time, it was my first visit to Turkey and i would love to go back again. I would probably stay at the Pink Palace again as it is ok and in a good location.

hi i went with my husband and a group of friends to the pink palace for my husbands 50th birthday, and i have to say after reading reviews before we travelled i was a little worried! when we arrived we were shown to our rooms on the ground floor by a friendly guy, our frinds been put a few doors away/ it was late so we didnt venture very far so decided to take a look around the grounds of the hotel. it is not really satisfactory for anyone with walking difficulties as there are quite a few steps around by the resteraunt area and reception too,i myself am asthmatic and i only just managed without been to out of breath. however i have to say the young staff in the resteruant are very friendly and like to be on first name terms with all the guests. however they are quite keen to remove your plates so if you want seconds hold on to them ! the only thing was the eating areas are open plan and this allows the cheeky little birds to fly in to steel the bread! the staff do however try to keep the bread covered but those birds are cheeky little things and they dont give up easily. the food was not too bad they do tend to serve chicken most days, but there is plenty of fresh salads at both breakfast lunch and dinner. they always have soup on everyday but it was always nice. deserts are not great but ok, and the drinks were fine , plenty of fruit juice ,water, and wine in a barrel. on the whole we thought it was ok and it did seem to get better as we entered our second week. its in a ideal situation for the resort centre of hisaronu just a five minute walk away and you were there and it was great. the rooms were small but clean but if you visit early season you will need to ask for blankets,oh and do ask for extra pillows. all in all we would use the hotel again if the price was right the poolarea is very nice the pool is quite large . safety deposit boxes are available for ten pound a week but worth it. all in all not bad at all. oh forgot to metion the breakfast! hard boiled eggs, a toasting machine, salad. cereal, fruit juice, jams marmalade and honey ,fresh bread. their also a chef that will cook you an omlete , and if you ask he will do you fried eggs. but there is no bacon ect. it was fine reall and you can at all times eat as much as you want so all in al was not bad. enjoy and dont expect the ritz and you will be fine.

I could eat the food here, really lovely, food on go all time, pool area great. One problem, the bar closes at 11pm should be till 12 in our opinion, the barman does not ring bell before 11 to warn you that it is closing, so I did lol, Loved it that much going back, I hope in Sept for another 2 weeks, all inclusive, had a bargain price. Beaches very pebbly, Sugar Beach about the best one, but we decided to stay around pool, did the trips etc. Safari one brilliant, 12 Islands, well nothing to see there just diving in and swim at all the 6 stops, no land to swim to lol. Hotel bril..... Serkan and Nesle entertainment crew they spot on, really tried hard to entertain, we had some laughs.

Have been staying at the Hotel for the last 5 years, ALL staff are friendly and helpful. If you want lavish hotel rooms, large fluffy towels and a sun lounger with a mattress, THEN PAY THE EXTRA FOR 5 STAR. We have never had a problem, food is always freshly cooked, although is is always chicken, this is part of their diet. If you want BURGERS, CHIPS, CHICKEN NUGGETS, then stay at home. Rooms cleaned every day, clean towels every other day, if you want clean towels every day .... just ask!. Some rooms have been refurbished, we stayed in one this time round and it was lovely, BUT, how long do you spend in rooms anyway!!! Only thing I would critisise this time, would be the time the bar shuts, needs to be consistant, either 11, 11.30 or 12.00pm Not 11pm but all other times on back of room door or on internet when booking. We love the staff, many we have known for years, manager has been there for the last 4, he is trying to improve things, but like everything it takes time. The Turkish do not work on buildings during holiday season as they do not want to upset holiday makers!!!!

Please, if you want 5 star luxury, then do NOT book this hotel.
If you want small, friendly, clean and good value for money, then book the Pink Palace.

Just returned this morning from this hotel, basic, food poor, every day the same- Only had 1 meal at complex, eat out every night, no variety at all. The staff are friendly. I've been to other 3* accommodation & this is nothing like.!!
