We stayed at this hotel for a week in August 2011 on an all-inclusive basis. I read the reviews on here before booking, and felt confident that I had picked a good hotel. Most of the positive point were correct - the only negative being the barman, which WAS true, but by the end of the holiday he was smiling! It just depends how you view it - the barman did his job, worked long hours and was always there to serve. You can't expect him to be the life and soul of the party! It is a family run hotel, and it really shows. The staff are friendly, rooms are clean, food is typical Turkish home cooked food. Not a great deal of choice but what we ate was good, and if you dont like Turkish food then you should'nt book an all inclusive but eat out and you get the choice! The pool was spotless, so were the rooms. All in all we had a great time, the hotel is in a great location, right on the beach. Great value for money!

Like many others we were concerned that such a cheap holiday would be cheap but how wrong we were. The hotel was very clean, our room was great overlooking the pool and the bedding and towels were changed daily - not had this in a lot of four/five star hotels!. Although the food was very basic and the same a lot of the time there was always something that we liked, whether from the main course or the salad bar and the soups were excellent. We loved the family feel of the hotel and are so glad we chose to go there. Ian and his staff were excellent, could not do enough to please and always smiling. The location of the hotel was superb and right on the beach and easy to book tours to wherever we wanted to go. We went on the microlight trip and would recommend it highly. It was a wonderful experience and gave us a fabulous birds eye view over Olu Deniz. Maybe next year we will jump off the mountain! We are looking forward to visiting again next year to see how it looks after the refurbishment this winter.

Hotel itself was lovely and alot better than we had expected! Sheets and towels were clean every day. and the view was great overlooking the pool and sea. The food was a big downfall, we only ate in the hotel twice and ate out the rest of the week. Its not proper meals its just bits of salads!!! We were told there would be selected beers, wines and spirits at the bar but you have to drink out of a smal plastic beaker and only one beer and 2 spirits available!!
Went on a boat trip and the jeep safari which were 2 fab days out! The young girl on reception isnt helpful at all.. we hired a car and asked where could park the car and she didnt want to know, she was too busy playing on her phone!
The area and people are lovely in the bars and restaurants. Was okay for the money!

Great little hotel, good service, food nice and fresh but could have done with a bit more choice. Air con brilliant, rooms very clean and beds comfortable. Need more sunbeds, more tables and chairs in bar area and real glasses in the evening would have been good. However price made up for most of this as it really was excellent value for money, worked out at approx £625 per person in August for 2 weeks. Even our teenage daughters enjoyed themselves and managed to find a couple of clubs to hang out at. Really liked Calis and Fetihye so would love to go back to Bahar at some point.
