“A Real Gem”

We had a hire car and were traveling round exploring the area. We descided, we liked Fethiye so we drove throught the town and The Alesta stuck out as looking the best. Even when we pulled up we felt very welcome as someone rushed out to help us park up--we wer'nt even guests at that stage. They gave us a lovely big room about twice the size of the other rooms for hardly any extra. We liked it so much there that we stayed four nights instead of the planned one or two.
The Hotel is brand new and ulta modern which we like. The top floor terrace is very nice. I think the restaurant staff were still in training as they were very slow and sometimes appeared to forget that they were there to serve the customers.

They did get us freshly pressed orange juice for our breakfast, after we asked for it but it took about half an hour.

“A very good hotel”

We stayed here for 1 night and loved everything about the hotel. A clean, comfortable room with view of the marina, and lovely tiled rain shower. Delicious breakfast included with the rate (89euro). We enjoyed the small rooftop pool by the bar. Staff were a little hesitant but helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Take a room with a marina view.

“Fantastic shower but ...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 October 2011

We stayed for one night in this hotel and it was very nice except for a few things that were substandard. For the price we paid ( €89 ) including breakfast, we expected a little more. and shower was fantastic the rooms were clean but the breakfast was poor. you would expect fresh orange juice and not stuff coming from a carton watered down. also there was a huge selection of cheese but hardly anything in terms of sausages or similar. equally important is to have a nice ambient kind of sound when you're eating your breakfast or no music at all instead we had to endure Turkish pop music. unfortunately also the wall seemed to be a little thin as you can easily hear your neighbour knocking around on the floor. The pillows were of the hard kind and there was a note on the desk telling you that there are other pillows to choose from but unfortunately we didn't read this until the next morning. finally there is a feedback form which you can fill out but there wasn't even a pen available to fill it out with. all in all it was a pleasant experience but it was lacking in certain areas which can be remedied.

“Jury's out.”

We escaped from the noisy Yacht Boutique up the road to get a decent nights sleep. We spent 2 nights there. The hotel is very much in it's infancy and the staff are very green. Some of them are very ponderous, timid even. There is something very clinical about the place but, after the Yacht Boutique, it was such a pleasure to have a cheaper, more sumptious, well lit and comfortable room where you get a good night's sleep. We had a bedroom overlooking the bay which was wonderful, exceptionally clean and a pleasure to stay in. The bathroom was wonderful with a huge efficient shower.

The roof restaurant was on a par with the Yacht Boutique but they have a long way to go to compete with the service etc but it's early days. They are obviously aiming at the business market and the yacht fraternity so they should do well given more training and experience. There is a small swimming pool area on the roof.

Room Tip: Get a room overlooking the bay but avoid the 4th floor beneath the restaurant.

“Excellent all round.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2011

We stayed at this gorgeous hotel with the tour we were on and even the tour guide said it was one of the better ones he had stayed in. It was so gorgeous and clean and even though we didn't have a room with the big balcony overlooking the marina, we still had a little balcony that did. The staff were so friendly, which was a pleasant change from some of the other hotels. They had free wi-fi and nothing was too much effort for them. The pool on the roof was little but cosy and allowed everyone to sit around and chat. The rooftop restaurant was 5 star. The meals were included with our tour but rather than get the standard buffet of cheap food, we were fed a 3 course meal each night, including fillet steak. It was absolutely delicious. The buffet breakfast was also on the roof and was lovely, but the juice was very watered down. If I ever go back to Turkey, I am staying at this hotel again. Fantastic!

Room Tip: If you can get the suite for a good price then do it, it is huge. Or try to get a room at the front...
