We have just spent 2 weeks at this small hotel. The hotel is basic but very clean and all the staff are so friendly. We were just bed & breakfast but ate several times at the hotel as the food was excellent. Mehmet goes to the fish market will get anything you want - we had delicious jumbo prawns - best we've ever tasted and my Husband had the sea bream which was cooked to perfection. Before our visit I emailed Mehmet and asked for a sea view front facing room - we did have to pay an extra £5 a night but it was worth it for the lovely views we had. We didn't have any noise at all and the hotel is located at the quieter end of Calis which suited us. The rooms are basic but cleaned everyday and towels/sheets every 2/3 days. There was always plenty of hot water. We have been to Calis many times but this is the first time we have stayed here but will certainly be returning. There are plenty of good restaurants along the promenade. I really shouldn't be praising this hotel so much as we may not be able to get in for next year!!

Just spent 5 days here after spending 2 days in another hotel in calis beach because my flight had to be rearranged . While the first hotel was ok clean and nice breakfast it wasnt very welcoming so when I arrived at the Dolphin the contrast was striking I instantly felt at home. Although a budget hotel its very bright clean and comfortable . The food is lovely and all the staff are helpful and friendly. My room cleaned every day . My flight home wasnt till 10 at night so I asked to rent the room for another day but they said no problem I could store my luggage and there was a shower room I could use before leaving which I thought was very nice of them.The hotel is right on the beachfront but at the quieter end with stunning views would definatley go back.

We spent a week at the Dolphin hotel and it was fine but if I was going back to Calis again I wouldn’t rush to stay again as there are so many others to choose from.
We arrived at the hotel at about 10.30pm having come straight from the airport and when I said we had a reservation the bloke just looked at his watch as if the timing mattered – they were still serving dinner so it wasn’t like we’d woken them or kept them up!!
We were then told our room had been let to someone else, despite our reservation and prepayment. The owner (another man) explained he had been away and his nephew had double booked the rooms. He said it would be sorted for the next day and we could stay at his brother’s hotel that night, which was fine but a bit of a pain as we couldn’t unpack until after 2.30pm the next day.
The accommodation was cheap and the rooms are basic and clean. They do have air con although you have to pay extra for it. There are also safes available by reception (also an extra charge). The website says all the rooms have balconies and while this is strictly true, ours was at the side of the hotel in a narrow gap between the buildings and there was only room to hang out the towels on it. You couldn’t actually do anything else with it.
Breakfast was fine but only Nescafe coffee is available to drink. If you want tea or juice you have to pay extra. We weren’t quite sure why people were paying half-board when there is such a wide choice of other eating places available along the beach front, in bar street and across in Fethiye but I guess each to their own.
We also found that the bar right next door seemed to have very loud live music on the nights when we had decided to go to bed at a reasonable time (around midnight on this holiday) but I guess that was just unlucky!

The hotel is really nice and pleasant. Rooms are basic, but have everything necessary and are very clean, all the bathroom equipment works properly, aircons in all the rooms. Most rooms have balconies with either backyard or sea view. We lived in both, and of course I suggest you ask for those which look out at the sea as the sunsets are simply stunning there. Another reason - the Wi-Fi connection is only available in those rooms, dining area and the lobby. What concerns the staff, everybody is very friendly and helpful. The food is great! I strongly recommend you try their fish&chips. Delicious! There's no pool but the hotel's beachfront location solves the problem. Also, there're lots of small shops around, where you can find souvenirs and everything for a beach holiday. What else? Turkish nights are organized weekly, and trust me you'll love them :) Oh, and if you are into wildlife preservation, you'll be glad to find out that Turkish government runs a really cool sea turtle project there.
