I can't fault it! My first holiday in Turkey, and I didn't want to come home. The family are lovely and friendly and will do anything for you, the rooms are cleaned everyday, they couldn't give us enough food, which was delicious! Prices are really good. Nice if you dont want to be too close to all the action, yet not too far away from the fab night life. 5 minute walk from the main road, with a bus that comes every 10 min to Fethiye or Hisaronu for about 2TL bargin! I would recomend this hotel to anyone. Perfection

Overall positive experience at the Gokcen. This is a family run establishment that has been in Ovacik for over 20 yearss. The hotel consists of several two storey blocks some newer than others. We stayed in the original block which was a little dated and bathrooms in need of a refurb but did the job. Spotless cleaning and towels changed daily. The other facilities included a lovely kidney shaped pool with plenty of sun loungers with padded cushions. Lots of sun throughout the day but shade if needed. This hotel also has an excellent restaurant and separate menu for lunch and dinner. The food was impressive and reasonably priced. Bar prices also reasonable.
This hotel is located in a vaery quiet part of Ovacik but is in easy reach of the excellent dolmus and taxi rank less than 5 minutes walk away. Bus will take you either to Fethiye or Hisaronu and Olu Deniz for less than £1.50. Plenty of other restaurants within walking distance of hotel.
The only minor negative was the breakfast which is Turkish but could be varied a little. Everyday it was bread, jams, cheese, boiled eggs with tomatoes and cucumber. A toaster would have made a difference and juice would have been good however these are available at extra cost. This hotel appears to be an adult only hotel and no children were present for the duration of my stay. One added pleasure for some are the family pets at the hotel. A lovely little dog and several tame cats. Never a problem although two guests did ask for them to be removed which was a little harsh as they cause no problem and are entertaining to watch. I probably would not stay at the Gokcen again as this is my second visit to the area however I would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends based on the price we paid.

Just spent the best 2 weeks ever in this beautiful hotel. The hotel is run by such a friendly family and has a great team working behind the scenes too. The rooms are gorgeous and spotlessly clean with fresh bedding and towels daily. Nothing is too much trouble for the family and I send special gratitude and thanks for all the help that my dear friends received in preperation for their wedding which was hosted at the hotel. What a lovely hotel, clean rooms at all times,food excellent.& all the staff from the top to the service maids, were well mannered,pleasent,and apporchable,thy just could'nt do enough for us,and there was 18 of us, and we all got our eveing meals at the same time,the prices wrer resonable too.The pool was really nice and clean, plenty of sun lougers, and a great sun trap.Taxis on time to take you where every you wanted to go, I am missing the Family already. best Holiday i.ve had and would definetly go back. and would recommend to all my friends and family, Excellent, Gina, W,Yorkshire.
