Let me caveat this by saying there is "new" and "old" Mevlana. I'm on a budget so went for the old side.
1) There is no air conditioning and no fan. You therefore need the window open all night. You are 25m from a main road, 25m from the bazaar, 50m from a mosque, so if you want to sleep don't pick this place. Ear plugs are vital, and even then the call to prayer will wake you up.
2) At this price in the rest of Turkey you would expect internet and breakfast. Forget about it.
3) There are no locks on the toilet doors or shower doors. Instead, there is a 1 metre long metal rod which you jam between the door and the wall (imagine barricading yourself in against zombies/Jack Nicholson).
4) There is no hot water on the 1st floor. There is no cold water on the 2nd floor. This creates certain problems for flushing toilets and showering. I'm happy to shower using half a cut-up coke bottle, but only in the middle of nowhere, not in a major city.
Ok, positives? It is a bed. It is cheap-ish. The old man who tried to solve the shower situation was sweet (result: half a coke bottle to douse myself).
Would I recommend this place to family and friends? Absolutely not.
Would I recommend this place to strangers?! Absolutely not.
