I actually visited the hotel in September 2008 (the menu no longer allows that date), but the memory of this beautiful, peaceful, traditional, tasteful and painstakingly restored Ottoman house and its idyllic garden and separate dining room has remained vivid. The owners were extremely helpful to us, despite our asking complex questions about the area. The breakfasts were a delight. As for the TV question asked by another reviewer, I was able to watch the final of the US Open (tennis) at 2 a.m. in the bar/TV room on the ground floor, disturbing no-one, the owner having set up the appropriate channel for me. The one drawback was being woken at 4 a.m. one night by loud drumming outside, but that was a local custom connected with Ramadan. and not the hotel's responsibility. I loved the place and will gladly return whenever I can.
