The hotel was newly renovated, nice although a little sterile. The configuration of the rooms is interesting, separating the bed from the sitting area, etc. Nice appointments, with subdued serene colors.
The breakfasts were ok, but some appliances didn't work, i.e., toaster, coffee urn. We did not eat other meals there.
In general the staff was not accommodating in any way. This was alarming as this was our first night in Turkey... (it proved to be our only such experience however!)
Internet was sporadic.

We went to Izmir just for two days. We booked this hotel through travel agent.
We had a simple welcome where we left our luggage because of our early arrival. The room was spacious and bright, very clean and all furniture were new and at simple lines.
There was a big double bed and the sleep was really quiet.
The breakfast wasn't the usual of the hotels. There were some classic options but we had the opportunity to try some new tastes.
A negative I can say was a strange smell in the elevator and at the corridor to the restaurant.

Nice hotel, clean rooms, but... the service was really bad. When we had to take our baggage everyone was just looking without helping and they offered their help only when we had already reached at our rooms.. Just to take the tip.. But we didn't give anything.
The breakfast and the dinner were really poor.. Just 2-3 choices.
Ok, nice hotel, but not 5 stars. No professionalism.
