“All you need at a very good level”

The hotel is without any flaws: nice rooms with spacious bathrooom (shower and bathtube), a medium sized desk, large flat screen with all the standard international channels, free wifi, comfortable bed, quiet.
The breakfast is good, but not excellent. Arrival and departure service are quick, good and friendly.
Considering the price of less than 300 TRY/ night the hotel is 5star. A higher price would make it a 4star hotel.
However I would always recommend it for business travelers as it is well located with the right amenities.

I travel to Izmir quiet often & this has become my most preferred stay place after several trial stays at several boutique hotels & even Hilton.

Swissotel Grand efes is having excellent location (akin to Hilton & Movenpick). But what distinguishes it from others is its 'SPA' & 'SERVICE'.
One can experience the best rejuvenation packages at 'Amrita Spa' in Swissotel.

The breakfast spread is again fantastic. The service at Breakfast area - is again one of the best that i have experienced at any hotel in the world.
They care so much for the guests dining / eating.
Internet is wireless & free & connectivity is good through the hotel.

Shower area / Bathtub / Bathroom Accesories / etc are all good.
The room has very good rope lighting acroos all the areas in room, which gives a soothing feeling.
The work desk is fantastic. You can work the whole day without getting strained.
I was really unable to find any error or mistake anywhere.
This hotel really personifies the idiom - "service with smile"

“Excellent modern international hotel in prime central position”

Top notch modern (2008) hotel built on site of traditional grand hotel in centre of Izmir.
Furnished excellently with modern European design. First class restaurants including breakfast buffet. Full of business travellers during my January trip - but size of outdoor pool suggests it would be a great holiday base as well.

“Brilliant Hotel”

Cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. We have stayed there three times and each time has been excellent. This time for our sons wedding. Check in is speedy with very friendly and most helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and clean, and always well cared for. Breakfast is excellent with a large choice. The pool is lovely, and staff very friendly attending to your every need, and nothing is too much trouble. The Spa is wonderful. Within a short walking distance to the Sea and the Cordon where there are some excellent resturants. Wouldn't consider staying anywhere else and looking forward to our next trip.
