Great location, close to the Kordon area, and being the tallest building in Izmir the rooms have a great view above the city and the bay.

The gym and pool are nice and useful after a stressful day, the restaurants are quite good, but actually you might want to eat in the city to taste real turkish food.

The room wi-fi connection is quite expensive, even the "economy" offer.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

We stayed at the Hilton for 4 nights in Jan 2012. We appreciated our roomy room, the great view, the fantastic breakfast buffet, and all the helpful staff.

We could do without the ridiculous charges for WiFi, though. 30TR for a 24-hour pass?! Every other hotel in Turkey we stayed in had free WiFi. Every neighboring cafe and restaurant provides free WiFi. As visitors from outside the country, we use the web heavily to plan our days, keep in touch with family, and find our way around town. Charging ridiculous fees for WiFi isn't very welcoming. (Why not charge for power, TV, or water usage if you really want to extort money from your guests?)

This hotel is an easy landmark for finding your way around the city (you can see it from everywhere), so even if you don't stay here its useful for getting your bearings.

Situated in the commercial heart of Izmir, the Hilton is proposing -at competitive rates- all set of high quality services that you can expect from a four stars hotel.
Staff is friendly and dedicated; the Hotel Manager is very kind and always ready to help customers that have special request.
Strongly suggest to choise Hilton Izmir if you are travelling for business or with your family.

The hotel is the tallest building in Izmir, and very close to the beach. We got a nice suite overlooking the sea, and the rooms were huge. The service was good but not very personal, which is expected maybe in a chain like Hilton. There were free chocolates at the reception though, which were yummy. There was a spa and a gym, though the massage was not that great but this is in comparison to the type of massages one can get from South and Southeast Asia. Would return to the Hilton if I went back to Izmir.
