Situated in a residential part of the town with in walking distance ( 5 min ) to historic town, Dedeman seems the most attractive choice of accomodation in Diyarbakır. Right next to now closed Archeological Museum ( getting ready to move to its new location) the area seems little deserted although there is a shopping center right across the hotel. The historic town within the antique city walls are within walking distance and the premises is very accessible by car and public transportation as well. The dinner is being served at the non-attractive pool side, no ambaince at all same goes for the lobby, both need to be upgraded . The breakfast is served on a nice lit spacious restaurant on the first floor. The dinner served was one of the best we had in our one week trip in Southeast Turkey. The open breakfast bar was the richest with a very good selection of cheese, cold cuts, fruits, cereals, eggs, bread and various local cookies.The rooms are clean well designed and spacious. The staff was cheerful .You will get five star service and food at this four star hotel.
