“Old world charm.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

Strange hotel still has some old world charm, but lacking any personal touch by staff. Seems to be mainly used by bus tours which mean it’s very busy at dinner times, and you need to make staff in the restaurant understand that you don’t belong to group tables. Once you get pass that hurdle, dinner is ok if a little rushed. Breakfast was not so good, but seemed to get a little better by the last day. One good aspect with bus tours gone in the daytime it leaves the hotel a very quiet and relaxing place to stay. I did like the side doors leading from the rooms to the pool so you didn’t have to go through the lobby every time you went outside.

“Nice Stay”

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel - November 8 and 9, 2011. I loved having access to the indoor thermal pools. The room had 2 twin beds - they were clean, and comfortable. There was a couch and the WIFi worked. The rooms were modern as was the remainder of the hotel. The only problem was the setup in the buffet. There were a lot of groups, although it was off season. It was very crowded at the buffets and in the dining room. Dinner was not relaxing at all.

They did offer various massages which I needed after traveling 4 site in one day. The massages are highly recommended. I was having severe back pain and would not have been able to walk at Ephesus the next time. The lady had "healing" hands".

“Pathetic Hotel”

Luckily, we were there for only 1 night. I would rate this as one of the worst hotels I have stayed. It's pathetic that a place like this is allowed to stay in business and they bring nothing but shame to the entire hospitality industry. It seemed like the staff was being punished to work there - no smiles, no hellos, no basic courtesies, just plain rudeness.

The rooms and the hotel in general is dirty, with the hot springs taking the cake. I dont think they have ever been cleaned and enjoy the muck all over your body when you get in. I think the restaurant staff got bonuses depending on how badly they could treat a guest. A lady in our group was eating her apple at breakfast time and decided to walk out enjoying the fruit, she was promptly asked to put back the half eaten apple.

Another gentlemen was having a coke when he walked in for dinner, yes, he was not allowed in till he finished the drink. I completely agree with another reviewer who compares this place to a "Cheap Cruise Ship". All said and done, stay at your own risk. Our entire party of 28 was disgusted with this hotel . So much so, the tour guide assured us they will not be using this place for future trips.

“nice hot spring pool indoors”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 December 2011

The hotel is not near anything walking distance, the rooms need some updating, used the hair dyer and the hose melted off the wall, room was clean and the real attraction is on the montain top, food was ok, the many island food stations were ample, but it was like being in an ant farm with all the tons of tourists eating at same time! very crowded lacks traffic patern.
Interior spring was very nice very hot water and muddy color, but its mineral water felt great!

Room Tip: id try to find another place, if your just looking to sleep its ok

“Cheap Cruise Ship”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 November 2011

The overall experience in this hotel was akin to being on a cheap cruise ship. It was impossible to have a relaxing dining experience in a buffet room filled with too many people pushing through the buffet lines. If you could not hold your place in line, you would have starved. The food was mediocre. The location is remote so the only thing to do is stay at the hotel. The belly dancer in the bar was just okay. The staff appeared not to care if you were there and were not particularly helpful with helping the customer find their way around the hotel. Too many people checking out at the same time caused quite a delay with getting the bags from the room. Drinks in the lounge were very expensive. No reason to stay here the first time or to return.
