We are well traveled and were staying in Turkey with our good friends. We stayed here for 2 nights. After the Sacred House this was a great disappointment. The hotel was overbooked so we were put in a house nearby which was dingy and slightly dilapidated. Our friends were moved to the main hotel the next morning but we stayed on in the 'alternate' room. I cannot understand why other people rave over this place. Yes the rates are reasonable but the furniture is sparse and it feels like a budget holiday inn. Eren the owner while friendly promised us with a big fuss some special pastries for breakfast but then never turned up to cook them. The breakfast was ok, but no special touches, Perhaps she was ill? but no explanation came, neither did she see us off the following morning, in sharp contrast to the owners of Sacred House who were up to see us off at an early hour.
The hotel is in a good location and just a short walk into town.Every trip we did in Capadoccia was spectacular and so interesting but avoid the wine making place near this hotel which is full of grumpy old men.
