“Cave Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2011

The stay in the hotel is one of the highlights of our trip to Turkey. The hotel has a quaint feel to it and feels thoroughly authentic. It has a terrace with a good view of the town and surrounding hills. The rooms open to a nice courtyard. I wonder how often one gets the opportunity to stay in a cave...

The rooms are clean and have many modern amenities- fridge, blow dryer, heater, and climate control. The bed is comfortable. Each room is different and make sure you check the catalog before you make a booking. Some rooms are more spacious and have more windows than others. I prefer the rooms with more windows- makes the stay in a cave less spooky. Haha.

“First stay in a Cave hotel”

This entire region is awesome and not well known by Americans. The hotel was very nice. Within walking distance to restaurants. The hotel looks very nice outside as well as inside. We walked up a few stairs to reception. The female on duty was not real pleasant, but no big deal. She gave us a nice room overlooking the terrace w/outdoor fireplace. We had to walk inside a small reception area to get to our door. The room had a king bed with cheezy satin bedspread but a Turkish appeal with a long sofa in typical Turkish print material. There was a small TV and a pretty nice bathroom. The bathroom included a whirlpool tub/shower (which we didn't ask for) but very modern and updated bathroom with heating towel rack. The room had AC/heat. Didn't need either. The breakfast was included and was very good with plenty of variety. it was a fun experience to stay in a cave hotel. I would recommend this hotel. I wilo try to post pics.

“Awesome Hotel!!”

We booked this hotel for 3 nights stay in the middle of our Turkey trip. The ambiance in the hotel is fantastic. Built in a cave, you feel transported back to the middle ages with all the amenities. But the real person who makes you feel at home and at ease is the hotel staff. Very friendly and extremely helpful. They go out of their way to help you out. I needed a shirt ironed for an evening get together and she got it done personally in 10 minutes (at no extra charge). The food is delicious (breakfast buffet and set menu at dinner). The rooms are huge and very comfortable. The toilets are modern with all modern amenities. The room was cleaned everyday perfectly. I mean, it was hard to find a fault at this place. I would go back to the hotel any day.

“The hospitality of the staff was fantastic.”

Check out the winery that's 2 blocks away. The room that I was given was actually a cave. A very comfortable cave that had hardwood floors and a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom.

Front room on 2nd floor was beautiful with lots of windows.
staff excellent - very helpful!.
Excellent restaurant - Dimrit Cafe near by -fabulous service .
Reception let me use their computer - unable to sign in because of their keyboard is different than N.A. keyboard. - Remember - altG to access @ and the i which North Americans use [ beside the U and O ] is actually 1 row down on right side - looking like an l.
