We stayed one night only though. Average room, average food, average stuff. Best of it is its value(buffet dinner and bfast included). Horrible decoration and architectural style.

We stayed in Nevsehir for three nights. The hotel was very comfortable, we had a large double room. Many of the front desk staff spoke english which was good, and they were very helpful. As Nevsehir is the largest city in the area we thought there would be plenty of night life, but this is a very conservative city and does not cater for tourists with few restautants and aparently no bars. However, the surrounding towns such as Goreme have plenty of night life. Basically, I highly recommend the hotel and Cappadocia which is beatiful but not hte city.

My daughter and I were booked here for our trip to see the fairy chimneys and ancient Christian churches. The staff at Nevshahir was as accommodating as they could be--given serious language barriers. However, the location of Altinoz is in an unsightly part of town, and the town's people were not at all friendly--in fact, we decided that we must have been "freaks" to them. I suppose it could have the blond hair and western (though modest) clothing, but we were very uneasy about walking the town even in the daylight hours, and were very self conscious about the imposing and suggestivce looks we received from men there. So, when we decided to take advantage of the fitness room and pool and spa, but found that none of these amenities were available we were very discouraged.
