Altinoz = All the Noughts! The 2 elevators were grossly inadequate. We had to walk up twice to the 4th floor since the lifts were mobbed everytime it homed down to the lobby!
The hotel is located in a shabby, run-down precint. The hotel itself is just as shabby. on the 5th floor, the public areas are falling apart. Service at buffet dinner/breakfast was non-existent. Chaffing dishes were not replenished. Egg-cooking station at breakfast is out of this universe! We were 1st in line for breakfast and had asked for sunny-side up eggs. The cook cooked 4 omelletes which no one ordered before doing our sunny side up eggs! Be warned. None of staff smiles. But you get plenty of zombie-like stares and lots of apathy where service is concerned. We had 3 bedrooms. 1 had a safe box that can't be locked, flat batteries in the tv remove control, aircond that spew forth hot air at 18 degrees setting. Looks like no one had stayed in the room for ages and no one bothered to check the room prior to assigning it to us. The rooms reek of stale, musty air. What a let down!
