I think this is the only place one can stay in Kayseri but seriously is not of Hilton Standards

We spent the night there because of our flight being cancelled. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was very freindly and helpful. The restaurant was a little below average. The most important thing was there was hot water which is sometimes scarce I found in Turkey.

This is a really nice place-i can't imagine staying anywhere else in this town. Great indoor pool. nice staff. the breakfast was a pretty expensive extra but was by far the best breakfast we had anywhere in Turkey. Great location. We were very satisfied.

1. The Room Rate Charged was for a Five Star Room (USD 196) but ended up with a room that does not come close to a 3 star establishment. Unlucky as even booked two rooms. !!!!!!

2. The rooms are dated and have seen better days. Very badly maintained for a 5 star hotel.

3. The mattress springs has lost its spring. You sink in the middle when you lye down. No firm support.

4. The Duvet/comforter is lumpy as the filling clumps up together.

5. When you shake the curtain, dust fall off !!!!

6. Th toilet WC seat is loose and have to be careful when you use it.

7. The room got a musky smell, like a wet towel.

8. The stand alone lamp shade is torn.

I wrote a complaint and the general manager said that the hotel is due for renovation.
Can you imagine the audacity of the GM knowing that and still charged you the rate for a 5 star standard room. !!!
He even have the nerve to say "Hope to see you again" !!!! No apologies whatsoever.

This is the last time I will ever stay in any Hilton as I have lost confidence in their ability to maintain the 5 star standard for their hotels. I am definitely not going to take another change to pay for a 5 star standard and end up being short changed.
