We stayed here for 2 nights after flying in from Istanbul as our base for Cappadocia. The city itself has a pretty setting, at least in late April with a handsome snow-capped volcano in the background which reminded me somewhat of Mount Fuji or Mount Shasta. There was always adequate staffing at the front desk and for the entrance (bell staff). The staff were always friendly and helpful, and went out of the way to help us at no charge when we had a little problem with our rental car (the power source for our GPS didn't work), and in helping me replace my I-phone charger, which I left in a previous hotel. Luckily, the hotel is across from the fort which is a large shopping area.
The hotel isn't spanking new, but it seems well kept-up, and certainly quite clean. As a gold Hilton member, I was welcomed not just with snacks, but also with a whole bottle of Turkish red wine! I was not upgraded to the executive floor, possibly because it seemed that only the 7th and 8th floors were non-smoking. We were given, nevertheless, free breakfast. The breakfast spread was huge and impressive. I must strongly disagree with another reviewer--there really was something for everyone at breakfast as long as you weren't somehow expecting bacon or ham in a Muslim country.
I'm surprised no one so far has commented, though, on the fact that this hotel is across the square from what probably is the main mosque. Its loudspeakers blare out the pre-dawn prayers at a decibel level which exceeds a jet engine's--and the double-paned windows do not succeed in damping it sufficiently. We were woken up both days at about 4:42 AM. This was in late April. In June it would have been earlier.
Parking was free in an adjacent lot. It's not exactly guarded, but it seemed pretty safe. The gym was well-equipped and maintained. I can easily recommend this hotel as long as you can deal with the pre-dawn wake-up blasts. The restaurant was good and not too expensive, either.
