“What a wonderful hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2011

I stayed at the Anatolian House for four days. The accomodations were very comfortable and charming. The bathroom was spacious and luxurious. The bedroom was charming with a lovely fireplace and authentic furniture and carpets. The cave, kept the room cool and only a fan was needed. At night it was actually chilly and comfortable with the windows opened.
The staff in the hotel was more than friendly. There is a wonderful roof terrace for dining and relaxing. The view is spectacular from the terrace. The pool is gorgeous. There is also a sauna adjacent. I only ate breakfast there and it was delicious and more than ample with lots of choices.
At Anatolian House you are walking distance to the open air museum and the town of Goreme. It was a highpoint of my wonderful Turkey vacation

“Unique and outstanding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 October 2010

We liked everything about this hotel. Receptionist was awaiting our arrival; check in was quick; the rooms beautiful. The hotel arranged a tour at our request which was outstanding. Would recommend this hotel without reservation to anyone.

“luxurious, romantic place to spend a wonderful time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 August 2010

Me and my girlfriend have spent two days in this wonderful place. We've enjoyed our room and the facillities so much, we got the feeling to miss the wonderful Göreme-surroundings a bit because of that. But they even offer you an inclusive horseback riding trip through a nearby valley, so you'll get out.
The suite we got was really luxurious, even in detail. The pool is small, though really nicely made, hammam and sauna are a cool plus and the staff was helpful and friendly.

“Excellent stay at Anatolian Houses - would highly recommend”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 July 2010

We are writing this review the night before we depart by the pool enjoying what has to be a beautiful cappodocian night. We stayed for two nights in a deluxe suite, we were impressed with our cave room, of course light was low but this is to be expected if you choice to stay in a cave. We did not experience any of the chaos mentioned in other reviews, in fact service was outstanding. Gorgeous hotel, with a small pool which is perfect for a dip after a hot day exploring the area. would highly recommend this to someone wanting an unforgettable experience.

“Conundrum”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 June 2010

This hotel somewhat baffles me on how to review. First the area of Cappadochia is a must and this appears to be the best place to stay so choices are limited if you want the best and most unique. Also despite all the problems it is a charming hotel that at the end gave us a good positive experience. The front desk was always in utter choas, they delivered our laundry to another room and had problems finding it, they forgot a wake up call, the restaurant for breakfast was passable at best, and yet for some reason being in the area of Cappadochia, sleeping in a cave and enjoying the free wine from the community spout seemed to make it all okay. Even when dealing with the myriad of problems the staff was always friendly, and the rooms are unique in the world. You are staying and living in the past and the town of Goreme is charming, so at the end I was content. I don't mean to shirk my responsibility of critical review and perhaps my expectations were lower but this not perfect hotel was perfect for visiting this amazing area.
