We loved this place. The best location to be in Goreme. The staff are fantastic. It is not fancy, but who needs that. Look around you for fancy. You are in an incredible area of the world. We loved the Blue Moon Motel.

The blue moon motel is located right in the centre of Goreme near all the shops/restaurants and the bus station. The rooms are clean and tidy with comfy beds and a powerful hot shower. Its very good value for money. What stands out the most however is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Besides always being greeted with a smile and offers of hot tea, they really do go above and beyond the call of duty. I had left my passport behind at the Kibala hotel in Cirali, near Antalya (which is a wonderful place too and well worth a visit) and Cemil, the owner of the Blue Moon motel organised to have it posted to Urgup, the nearest big town. He was brilliant at continually ringing the delivery office in Urgup to check on the status of things and even drove over with us to pick it up when it finally arrived. His comment was 'This is my business, to help my guests'.

Was a great place, we were travelling in the off season so was a little chilly, but our hosts were amazing with tea and a hot fire always on the go in a common area - best part was the uber hot showers that we go and its location!

Blue Moon is a small budget hotel in the center of the town. Otogar(Bus station) is just 2 min away and everything is very closed from the hotel. Breakfast is served in the balcony which has a great view when weather is warm. Unfortaunatley we had to have our breakfast in the dining area due to the cold weather in the morning. The view is pretty good from the balcony and you can see balloons rising each morning.

The room is basic which has a bed, table, fridge, TV and bathroom. They provide clean towel and clean the room everyday. Cemil is the manager and he helps with booking tours and buses and Memet is the house keeper and also prepre breafast. They both are very friendly and helpful. We even could take a shower before the overnight bus.

If you are looking for a budjet hotel with convenience, Blue Moon is perferct for you.
