Excellent value hotel in a great location at a great price. The rooms were clean the staff were helpful at organising transfers. My only complaint is that the water was cold on occasions.

Great roof top terrace!

Despite some problems we had at the airport with some unruly taxi drivers arriving in Kayseri, great times were had at Gultekin. It was like sleeping in your own place. Salim/Saleem (sp. sorry if I spelled that wrong) was a great host and extremely helpful in every way. And they had TOURIST TEA!!!! Mmmmm Apple Tea!!
The room we had was just built 3 months ago by the owner. It was perfect. It was clean, tidy, all that good stuff that it should be. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace. We had to leave a day early but it didn't upset the owners like it does at some hotels. He introduced us to the cutest baby ever. I generally think babies aren't cute but this was an exception. He even gave us a ride to the bus station in his own car because it was raining that day!

I'd come back here any time and stay.

Friendly staff,great terrace breackfast, good and clean rooms but the real diference is the personal service that they gave us.

Despite quite a snafu with our shuttle from Kayseri airport (if you get a shuttle, DO CONFIRM your reservation close to your arrival or you might have quite a problem with the taxi thugs) we had a wonderful stay at Gultekin. Selim was extremely kind and even gave us an upgrade to a arch room (it was the low season) which was beautiful. We also booked a hot air balloon ride and green tour (Derinkuyu underground city, pigeon caves, ilhara valley, etc) through him. We aren't the type to usually do tours we were short on time, and it was well worth it. Breakfast is great and the hotel is in easy walking distance to the train station and the restaurants in town. Also, there is wifi!
