Friendly staff,great terrace breackfast, good and clean rooms but the real diference is the personal service that they gave us.

Despite quite a snafu with our shuttle from Kayseri airport (if you get a shuttle, DO CONFIRM your reservation close to your arrival or you might have quite a problem with the taxi thugs) we had a wonderful stay at Gultekin. Selim was extremely kind and even gave us an upgrade to a arch room (it was the low season) which was beautiful. We also booked a hot air balloon ride and green tour (Derinkuyu underground city, pigeon caves, ilhara valley, etc) through him. We aren't the type to usually do tours we were short on time, and it was well worth it. Breakfast is great and the hotel is in easy walking distance to the train station and the restaurants in town. Also, there is wifi!

Selim, the owner, was an absolute gem. He helped us book all of our tours, our onward bus, went out with us for "Turkish night" dinner and helped us have one of the most fun nights I've had out in a while. Aside from this, the hotel was charming, very clean and centrally located. You could NOT ask for a better place to stay in Goreme.

Frindly motel, great location and an extraordinary owner who helps a lot especially when organizing tours in Cappadocia.
Some facilities may not exist (wireless internet...) but no need to use them in Cappadocia!!!!
