Location is somewhat out of the way. We rate this hotel as "average" overall and definitely not 5 stars as advertised. Our biggest complaint was the beds- the "sleeping platforms" are very flat and hard. Lighting in the room was poor- it is very "contemporary" or "artsy" but quite dim. Difficult to read anything in the poor light. The room was clean and reasonably well appointed. We had a wonderful view of the old Turkish bath from our balcony. The breakfast buffet was not as good as others but dinner meals were very good.

We were very satisfied with this hotel - tho not close to the city center or tourist attractions, it was quiet and had great views, plus a nice indoor/outdoor pool combination. Buffet food good, and rooms comfortable and vry quiet, tho bed a bit hard. Next door to a very nice Turkish bath.

Pros (+):
-Great staff, they were really trying to help us in every manners, especially our receptionist "the boss" with his great british accent and brilliant jokes, (i couldn't remember his name -similar to hanson?)
-Fantastic Roman bath, you should, no, you must! experience it! (bath staff can't speak english, and the massage doesn't take long enough to relax also bath needs a proper restoration though)
-Spectacular choices of Turkish couisine at the restaurant

Cons (-) :
-Weird moisture-mold smell inside the room(s)
-Towels and sheets were a little bit rough, feels like rubbish
-Poor internet connection (i mean really poor)
-Noisy a/c
-Hotel is an awkward example of poor designing (everywhere!)
-We saw some manager looking man yelling,shouting,lecturing to some staff in front of the guests! (what kind of a manager are you!)

This was the 1st stop on our Insight tour. We were looking forward to a nice rest in a cool room with a comfortable bed at what Insight claimed was a 5 star hotel. It was further than the truth. The room was gloomy & did not have a double bed, but 2 singles. Luckily it turned out for us as the promised interconnecting room to our children was not provided. Lucky it wasn't our honeymoon !! All 4 beds from both rooms were as hard as a rock. The airconditioner didn't work. According to all others on the tour, their experience was the same with the beds & a/c. Further, the bathroom was tiny & it was almost impossible to close the door. Others complained that their bathrooms smelt of sewage & that the light bulbs in their rooms weren't working. However, when they called for assistance, no-one would attend. Dinner was a below average buffet. Breakfast seemed better to me - a Turkish & continental breakfast - but there were some unhappy tourists who preferred a fully cooked breakfast & were dissatisfied. The tour guide admitted that the hotel had deteriorated & needed to upgrade its facilities. Really ???.
