“Lovely resort, food was awful!!!”

My friend and I stayed here for 8 days in june, and had a very chilled girly holiday..on a arrival at the airport we were greeted by a guy who asked us our tour operator, and then took our bags from us, which we thought was a nice touch, only he demanded a tip when we got to the coach, with which he was more than happy to take the only change we had!!! We'd read that transfer time was an hour half max, but after 7drop offs later it was 2 and half hours.first impression of the resort left us wanting to jump back on the coach and return to the airport, but im so glad we didnt.check in took almost an hour, which at 3 am we really didnt appreciate and at the desk they were handing out rolls, but by the time we got there they'd run out, which we were ok with, but there was children behind us that had to go without also! When we were finally given our keys, we had to walk through the resort, which lifted our spirits as it was very pleasant looking, found our room, and we were so impressed, huge beds, big room, nice, clean wet room, and two air conditioning units, which were fab, when most days it was 35degrees or more.one air conditioning unit started leaking halfway through the holiday, which I reported to maintenance, but was never fixed, as told it would be, but one was still very sufficient! This I believe is the first year this resort has been available to brits and if it has any hope of keeping us returning, there needs to be a drastic overhaul in the kitchens, im no fussy eater but the buffet breakfast lunch and dinner was dire, grisly meat, hair in the chips and under cooked chicken on kebab night, in the day lunch from a poolside shack was edible, but not even average..the staff work tirelessly, and are always smiley, talkative, especially, gokhan, ali and semih..theres always pool activities, but if thats not your thing there is a quiet pool.there isn't much to do outside the resort which was what we wanted, but the town is a short taxi ride away, and a lot of restaurant offer free return taxi if your eat or drink with them, which we often did, in particular murphys bar..the day boat trip offered by the tour operator is a must, very relaxed, some amazing views and crystal clear blue sea in which your can jump from the boat!! Overall we had a great time, just such a shame the food was horrific.

“Not what i expected!”

I was a bit nervous after some of the reviews on here but on a positive note the return transfer & rep was much better. The grounds, room and common areas were kept very clean and the air con/heating was nice. Lots of lovely little cats - my daughters favourite! Weather was fab during day but freezing like UK on night time - make sure you pack warm clothes! not really anything to do of a night time except sit on lobby bar & play cards!
However the negative points far outway the good ones which is a shame! Food terrible, nothing for kids or vegetarians. Preferential treatment to german guests. Freezing cold pools. Pedalo broken. Lots of noise with guests having to bump cases downstairs when leaving. Everything charged in Euro even though Turkey is NOT in the Euro!!! Forced entertainment however the guys themselves are great! Charges for everything even though all inclusive, i have never spent so much money. Phone cards 5TL even though they only have 4tl on them. Unhelpful reception staff. Driver ran over a dog on way in and no apology from him or our rep who was too busy bellowing over the microphone. no help with bags at 3am and had to carry them up 4 flights of stairs to find our room. 15kg baggage allowance and charged £90 for 9kg over on the way home topped it all off!!! Told by staff we were there out of season on a few occasions- not when we spend over £2000!!! They also could do with someone to get rid of flies & wasps - my friend got stung and we also saw a huge hive just inside the hotel stairwell (dormant). We ate out 3 times at Planet Yukka despite being all inclusive - highly recommended it was superb, lots of choice, dancing and they will collect & drop you off also, very cheap also!

Room Tip: upgrade to a sea view or suite if you have choice

“a lovely holiday only spoiled by rude guests pushing in.”

we decided to go to Turkey in October as we had been to Majorca in May and thought we might like some more sunshine later on in the year. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and were taken to our rooms on a buggy. The rooms are spacious and very clean.
The restaurant was partly outside and was lovely until we had storms, then there were people sliding all over the place.
the staff, well we could not fault them, they were just great. Semih and Ali looked after us well and semih introduced me to anew drink,(ammorretto and orange) which i now have serious cravings for.(Semi, if I become a drunk you are to blame! )
then there was dolally, what a great guy.(he's the one that looks like david walliams). very polite and friendly, my partner had his photo taken with him because he shaves his head and the photo looked like a picture from little Britain.
We found the food to be good and there was always something for everybody. there were only a couple of things that I would say spoiled our time there and they both involve the restaurant. It was a bit like being on the dodgems when queing for your food, and being only 4ft 10ins tall I was the one that was mown down by those impatient german people who obviously didnt know anything about standing in que without the barging. There were also people smoking in the restaurant which is never nice. Overall though the hotel itself was fantastic and the sunsets were beautiful. One tip though,October is a bit late in the year if you want constant sunshine. We had a few very wet days, and there was not very much to do under cover. If venturing out in the evening, try planet yukka, they will pick you up from the hotel and take you back again for free if you go for a meal. Also, a trip to Murphy's bar is a must, they will do the same pick up and drop off, Our 3 year old Grandson made friends with Arji who worked there and was giving out menu's and helping to take orders for a wage of sweeties. He loved it, and if you do visit there tell Arji that Alfie says hi! Oh yes, just one more thing, My son-in-law was nearly eaten alive by ants in their room, really can't understand why, as we didn't have any in our room at all, perhaps they just preferred the taste of him!

Room Tip: don't think there are any bad rooms as the place is well spaced out, but the rooms at the top (t...

“very clean and friendly hotel!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 October 2011

Decided to book turkey as a last minute break at the end of October, we was fully aware that it was quite chilly at night be as you know turkish clothes are cheap so baught a couple of tops for the night at the hotel shop!!

On arrival we found the hotel to be very clean and we was very happy with our room. Obvioulsy because of the time of year the beach hotel was coming towards the end of the season and the services should have minimal but all said and done we found what was on offer to be fantastic and the entertainment team did thier best to make you have fun and feel welcome!!

The food was one of our big highlights as you could find a variety of food all day long that was made fresh infront of you, YUMMY!

The bar staff were very friendly especially semi who looked after us the whole holiday:) and the variety of drinks avalible left us with no complaints.

Ammenities were very good you can get a simple dolbus into kusadasi for 1.50 which ran every 10 mins and there was a variety of shops to browse through! (no hassle)

All in all this hotel was fantastic for £750 all inclusive for 2 people and we would definatley return again!!! only difference we would probley go mid season but for those travlling in October its a fab place!!

Just had to mention there was one guy who looked like Ronaldinho who give him his due a nice guy but would not trust him with my missus!!

Transfers 2 hours.

Beach location.

All in all kusadasi is deffo my favorite Turkish resort!!! :) :) bang tidy :D.

Room Tip: all rooms are nice

“NOT GOING BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Me my husband and 4 children aged 10,6,5,3 went the 3rd of oct to the 18th we found the food to be the same every day with little change. The breakfast being especially bad the queing for omlettes and toast was unreal. When u have 4 children u dont want to be queing for 20 mins in each que this is probly because the german wouldnt know what a que was if it hit them in the face constantly pushing in all the time and generally thinking they owned the place. The kids disco at night had only 1 english song my kids wouldnt join in as they didnt understand. The animation team are only round the beach bar pool and never come to the kids pool or asked any of them if they want to join in any of the games it was so bad we had been there a week and a friend of ours introduced us to 1 of them and he asked if we had just arrived. The adult entertainment was ok we only went once the whole time we were there maily because it was cold on a night and it is open air.The beach was horrible i love the beach but it was so rocky u just couldnt get into have a swim i tried 1 day and cut my foot on the rocks and decided never again some of them were quite sharp this is something they should really spend some money on improving. On the plus side the rooms are very spacious and very clean and the grounds and pools were very clean. The kids club was very good steph and lauren were lovely and great with the kids they loved going. We would not return here have been to much nicer 4 star hotels with alot better entertainment in turkey.

Room Tip: We had 2 famlly rooms they were lovely but didnt have a bath.
