“All in all a great experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

I would like to start with the fact that we (young couple-25 years old) spent a week in this hotel back in May 2011 from 13th to 20th May so I guess this is the main reason that we really liked this hotel and very much enjoyed our vacation there. I suspect that in the high season it can get pretty crowded there thus the quality of the services provided may drop significantly.
In the time we were there the hotel was from 20% to 60% full so there was plenty of free tables on dinner and lunch, we can find free sun chairs even after 11 AM, the SPA was always empty and every time we went to the sauna it was only occupied by us (it is lovely with the window in frond with the beautiful view of the hotel and bay).

STUFF:
Most were great, very helpful.

FOOD:
80% of the food we've tried was tasty and healthy. I don't eat meat so can say that every day there was some kind of fish (grilled, fried, cooked, etc) and the "salad maker" guy was great in what he does!

RECEPTION:
This is the only place we did experienced a problem. We've paid for a Sea view room, however we were offered a corner room with literary prison sized window which was unacceptable and we had to go and ask them to change our room. They stared explaining that all are booked and they can not change it for a number of reasons and etc so they offered us another room which was even worse: on the first floor with NO sea view. We had to go back and do the how exercise again and after maybe 10 minutes arguing the finally gave us the room we have booked: 6th floor excellent view :) so my advise is not to give up but insist on receiving what you have paid for!

I would recommend this hotel but only for the low season :)

Room Tip: Rooms on the top floors are with the best views.

“Lovely vacation”

The hotel looks like Princess castle due to its towers. It is quite old and not repaired for long time, however I spent 2 wonderful weeks there. Terrirory is not big but beautiful enough. We made photosessions every day with sunset on the beach and the pictures were wonderful. Nice trees and white sofas on the beach are really wonderful for relax. Rooms were good, well cleaned so nothing to complain about. Food is also well done, restauarant in the evening was enjoyable and romantic. During whole day there was animation programm, guys spoke many languages and even it is mostly for children, many adults participated it as well.
So I am totally happy with Adakule and would recomment to choose it for your seaside vacation.
P.s. Kusadasi is veru cute town, especiall ebeningson Birds` island (cosy cafes)

Room Tip: sea view (caould be more expensive)

“Check the ''poor'' and ''terrible'' reviews: they're RİGHT”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2011

The bright side of my vacation: Reception service, the spotlessly crean towels of the room, the bellboy and the extraordinary massages.
The dark side: Where should I start? First of all, I felt dissapointed at watching the facade of this hotel... way old for a 5 stars!! Going inside didn't change the experience: our room was at the restaurant's level: the way to the room was more like the way to a dungeon... with very old and dirty carpets and a hallway poorly lighted. The room was clean but with old furniture, for the same price we've got much better rooms in other all inclusive hotels in Turkey. The bathroom was refurbished though it had a funny smell and the housekeeping service didn't show up during 3 days.
About the restaurant, this is the worst bufe I've ever seen in Turkey (for a so called 5 stars hotel). Lack of variety and options, TERRİBLE service from the waiters (even having an empty restaurant they would not mind in retiring your dishes or attend you unless you are a young good looking girl coming alone) and a super noisy restaurant.

Not entertainment at all...

What a waste of a fantastic location, they could make of this hotel a suberb resort :( We won't come back!
