Known as Esat hotel, the accomodation is perfect (clean, beautiful rooms) and the restaurant located at the 6th floor (having the whole Kusadasi Marina panorama) looks very nice. Food is served in the Suedish bufet type and contains a variety of dishes, including meat. It's not true that one can only eat hamburgers and pizza. The eating time is: morning 7:30-9:30; lunch: 12:30 - 14:30; dinner: 19:30 - 21:30...and in between 15:00-17:30 you can serve snacks at the pool, for free. The surrundings are very beautiful. You can go to different beaches nearby but I wouldn't reccomend you the downtown beach, located in the center. You can take a minibus (wich is really frequent and costs 2 turkish lira - 1 euro) and go to Ladie's Beach, which looks amazing. Whatever you do, DON'T trust Siba Tour Agency for your trips. They are really expensive, the guides take you shopping non-stop to locations (during the trips when all you wat to do is visit) from which they obvisously take a percentage of sales (they trick you that they give you a coupon with a discount, but it's not worth it). Their services are very poor and they cancel trips in the very morning they take place, lacking respect for tourists. Siba Tour disappointed us a lot, and I've heard bad feedback about them from more tourists around Kusadasi. You should visit Pamukale, but know first that there are 6 hours on the way and you will only stay 1 hour or so there and not have time to spend and really relax and enjoy the location. Also, visit Efes and Virgin Mary's house! They are really close to Kusadasi and are extraordinary! From the harbour (the Marina), located near the main Bazar, in the center of the resort, you can take various ships and go in a half-a-day cruise on the sea. lunch is included and it's really cheap (around 11-13 euro). It's worth it! In bazars, you need to know how to negociate for every single thing. The Turkish always say a bigger price (they usually double it) for foreign tourists. They were talking big about how they trick British people with fake discounts and really big prices. So watch out, you can negociate and they will come after you with the price you offer, in the end. It's somehow aggressive and funny in the same time. But never trust them. The exchange is to be done at Deniz Bank. That's what I'll recommend, and that's what other tourist recommended me. Also the staff services at Esat hotel were very poor, they don't speak english very well and they don't respect their clients very much.
Kusadasi is a great resort and after 10 days there....I didn't want to leave....
