Surmeli hotel looks like Titanic. it is big and white. Area is nice - blue swimming pools, green grass and positive anf friendly atmosphere everywhere. From the earluy morning there were sports and entratianment activities for children and adults and we had no minute to be bored. Service was amazing, all stuff was very attentive to all the guests especially to kids and teenagers.
Food was delisious in both restaurants, and I forgot about my diet as everything was so well cooked, evven fast food.
We spend evenings in retaurant till late and after there was a disco. Not so much people, but funny! Sometimes there were fireworks - great!

we bought excursion from the local rep called Alex. we bought about £90 worth of goods at a pottery store we were taken to. everything was packed so it would be safe duringour flight back. however when we got back, the most expensive item costing aroung £40 was missing. we got in touch with Alex via his mobile phone. he said he will arrange the money to be transferred to my account by the shop. i provided bank details of an account in which i don't keep any money. i still have not received any money. so beware of what you buy and who you trust!!!

We spent 4 days at this hotel. The reception was not very welcoming and seemed to be tired and reluctant to give good service. the Hotel rooms was not a 5-star but they were ok as 3-star level. the rooms were a little dirty with out nice blankets, the fridge was broken. The nice thing about this hotel is out of the rooms. the lobby was nice, you can always find something to drink in the lobby bar and it is pleasant to seat there and have a drink and specially Turkish coffee :) as for the food you can always find something to eat but don't expect many options, but the salad and dessert were good especially if you are not on a diet.
there were very nice pools out door a a good pool indoor that you can have a lot of fun and you may want to relax beside them. pool bar was also good. the beach was excellent, very clean and pleasant.
one the best thing about this hotel is their animation team. you can always have fun in this hotel with the nice performance of the animation team, especially their nightly performance. the animation team was full of energy at all time and made their best to keep the gusts entertained at all time in their own way. once I became a jury member with two very old women LOL :D
the hotel disco was good as well if you are into late night activity.
The staff look rude but they were working from morning until late at night and who can be nice with long hours hard working. what made me upset was the the guests neglect tipping the staff, this way you shouldn't expect good service.
Generally I think that the management should do something about the rooms, they are so old. and the gusts should tip the staff. Considering the price,it is a very good choice to go.

Stayed for 10 days in October 2011 and found the Hote Room a littel tired and does need some refurbishing to bring it up to 5 star standard.. However all other aspects of the Hotel were excellent .The food became rather repetitiious. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. The pool and toilets areas were kept very clean.We also enjoyed a trip in to Kusadasi and the old roman ruins at ephius. We wuld stay again
