We stayed in this hotel in September 2011, and had a wonderful time. Our room was very big with a lovely bathroom, and the maid service was excellent. The bed was huge and very comfortable, and there were no noisy disturbances such as lifts and banging doors, which can be a problem inlkarge hotels.
The food was amazing- plenty of it, lots of choice, with fruit and salads as well as cooked dishes and mouth watering desserts. Yes, there could be a bit of a wait to get a drink in the restaurant, and the plates are whipped away very quickly so hang on to them if yiu want seconds (or just get another plate).Unlike other reviewers we found the staff polite, friendly and helpful considering how many customers of various nationalities they had to deal with. Not all of them had a lot of English, but we were abroad after all!
Don't bother packing beach towels, unless you want to go to an outside beach, as these are provided at the poolside. One tip for the bathroom- if you want your towels changed, leave them on the floor. We didn't realise this until the last day when I read an information card in the bathroom.
Our only criticisms were the lack of variety of evening entertainment, and the fact that information about the facilities and events were scattered about, rather than in one folder. It's well worth exploring all areas when you arrive, as we didn't discover that we could have hired a DVD or used a computer, until we were going home.

I stayed in this hotel recently. The hotel itself is by the sea and quite nice. The restaurant is only so-so. What really turned me off is their laundry service. The guy at the reception completely misled me and I got a bill of 90 Lira ($50) for a laundry service of a few t-shirts/underwears/ pairs of socks... I disputed at the front desk but they cannot find that guy and I had to swallow the bill. So learn my lesson and don't do laundry there. You'd better off buying new ones!

We stayed at the fantasia in September this year and had a great time, food was really good and different every day. Animations team did there best to get everyone involved and had a good evening program. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to others as it had everything we wanted. The only problem we had was the bar staff and waiters did not speak great English but they managed.

We stayed here 22-28th Oct the weather was ok, in the 20's everyday and warm enough to sit by the pool, however water in the pool was freezing even though some people used it, I opted to use the indoor pool for a swim. There is a man made beach and pier that you can have a stroll on.
Staff at the bars by the pool did not appear over friendly, often taking their time to serve. You also needed to ensure you asked for a large drink or you'd end up with a drink that would be gone after a few sips as they were often frothy (soft drinks).
Food is available all day, due to it being the end of the season the main restaurant was the only place open for food except in the afternoon when you could get snacks in the bar/restaurant near the pool. The food in the main restaurant was mediocre, pretty much the same every day, edible but not particularly flavoursome. Similar problems to the review before, staff unhelpful in the dining room particularly at offering drinks, on one evening I had to ask for a drink three times before it finally arrived after I had finished my food. Overall the service throughout the hotel was not efficient, except for one or two staff in the main bar.
Drinks are available 10am-12pm including soft drinks, some limited spirits, beer, wine and some cocktails.
There are lots and lots of cats around the place especially on the veranda outside the main restaurant which is not helped by guests feeding them. So if you don't like cats this is probably not the place for you.
The hotel is nice overall but does not merit 5*, more likely 3* and at a major push 4. The bedroom was basic, cleaned daily mid afternoon however towels were not necessarily replaced daily sometimes just refolded, which was interesting trying to work out which towel belonged to who.
The spa was very good and its addition to the hotel would help increase the rating from 3-4. All treatments I had were very good and fairly reasonably priced compared to european prices however they are not cheap, ask for a deal and they will be provide some kind of offer.
There are a few activities available from table tennis, darts and evening entertainment. Internet access is available in varying strengths throughout the hotel, there are several WIFI connenctions so depending on where you are depends on which one you need to connect to.
The hotel is just outside Kusadasi you can get the Dolmus No.6 for €1/2.5tl or a taxi for €10/25tl both currencies are accepted almost everwhere the hotel appears to charge mainly in euro.
