Kusadasi was a wonderful experience, ehanced by Villa Konak. What a lovely place and only a minute or twos walk from the heart of the city. Everything about Kusadasi was wonderful, the rental car people decided Villa Konak was too difficult to give directions to from the port, so they drove us there! Then they waited while we completed checkin to do the paper work. It was just amazing. Our hosts were friendly and bent over backwards to provide the most wonderful experience. We were invited for traditional tea and cookies at 5pm and why would you say no.
Unfortunately we were only here for one night ( I could easily have stayed for week), but no less it was nice to meet fellow travellers.
The grounds were superb, the pool inviting and breakfast delicious. I believe a couple of nights a week if there is enough interest they will do a traditional home cooked meal - I would have loved to have been there one of these nights.
Villa Konak was one of the most affordable places we stayed in turkey, worth twice as much!

This was an unbelieveable oasis in the heart of throbbing Kusadasi. Warm, friendly staff and guests (all of whom read Tripadvisor) -- walk to the heart of Kusadasi

Villa konak deserves it's high rating. The place is an oasis- a consolidated group of traditional houses with central grassy garden and pool, 100m up the hill from the tourist centre of Kusadasi but well served by taxi and only ten minutes walk to the dolmus station.

The staff are cheerful and obviously proud of their hotel, speaking good English and happy to book travel and taxis for you. They service tea and bickkies at 5pm each day which is a cool way to meet the other guests and exchange travel ideas.
Half way up the hill is a Turkish Pizza shop which makes the best pideever. And we're from Sydney where the next best ones are!

Pool is excellent and the rooms decorated in low key traditional style. You could spend a week here and never step outside.

We loved everything about the hotel from beautiful garden to the cosy rooms. Evening tea with the other guests in the garden was a perfect end to a long day of sightseeing. The pide restaurant just 10 meters down from the hotel was a lovely place to have dinner. Stayed for two nights but wish we could have stayed longer!
