After arrived the hotel with the group, while our tour leader was busy arranging our rooms at the Front Desk, so our first experience was the buffet dinner in the hotel restaurant. Yes, in the buffet line, there were a lot of varieties but no quality...some of the hot items were either overcooked or not hot and no taste at all.

My second experience was when I first entered into the room after the dinner, just at a glance, the lamp on the wall has shown another not very good impression (photo attached) and I have no interest to find out more..

This hotel was just a place for me to sleep.

From the first moment we walked in I thought it wouldn't be a good stay - the bellboy took about 30 minutes to get our luggage to our room, the room smelt funny and we waited an eternity for the bellboy to come up to sort out the safe for us (we rang up once to remind them only to find he had gone to dinner and we would have to wait another 15 minutes). But the bellboy was friendly and things started to look up from there (if you ignore the funny smell in the room). The food was good (though not fabulous) and the gym was well equipped.
The hotel is about a 5-10 minute taxi ride from the main shopping area.

The staff were friendly and attentive, but there would be little other reason to select this hotel. The food was okay for a buffet line; served with tables in a line, much like a school lunch room. Could have had better ambiance with a different configuration. The lobby was small and unappealing for anything other than bag transfer or check-in/check out. The bar was pretty and the room balcony would have been nice if we would have had a view of the water without stretching. Not near anything, so you are a captive audience without some type of transportation.

This hotel is not equipped to handle winter stays. The heater in the room is not working and of no help at all. The temperature of the water from the shower is very inconsistent. One minute it is piping hot, the other minute it can turn really cold and then back to hot again. No bathroom slippers were provided which could help esp in the toilet where the floor tiles were very cold. There is also no wifi provided in the hotel.
