My Partner & I have just returned from the most wonderful 18 night break based at the Neptun Hotel, Side, Turkey. The hotel is situated in the most fantastic location between a private beach and over 2000 year antiquities with a short and pleasant walk to the heart of Side, which takes all of 5 minutes. Rooms are basic, Clean, with regular fresh Eygptian cotton sheets and new towels daily. Our room faced the sea which allowed for the most beautiful view of the sun setting every evening I am also pleased to report that the hotel is not subjected to any loud noise at night so prepare yourselves for a relaxing night sleep! The breakfast is bountiful consisting of fresh bread, cereals, eggs, salads, cheeses, preserves, fresh fruits, coffee, teas and juices. Staff are extremely friendly and cannot do enough to make your stay a joy. Though the Hotel did not have a restaurant per se a limited menu is available, with food being fresh, hot and tasty. The main bus terminal is again only a 5 minute walk away and opens so many opportunities to travel at ridiculously low prices to Antalya, Manavgat, Alanya and beyond.
So overall the most wonderful find, perfect location, great people = Great tan, relaxed, want to go back now!!!

Great hotel lovely clean rooms friendly and helpful staff including the owner.Room view overlooking its own private stretch of beach air conditioning brilliant which is a must for me. 5 minute walk to centre of Side and all its history,bars ,places to eat and shopping. 10 minute walk to the local bus.What more could you want and to top it all off inexpensive.Would highly recommend and gladly go back .

Perfect in every way! As you walk down the drive to the Neptune you catch a glimpse of the clear blue sea within arms reach!! At reception you are warmly greeted by the Hotel Manager who can not do enough to help. The rooms are quite basic but they are kept incredibly clean. Our balcony whilst not overly large had an amazing sea view! It was on our first morning that we were advised the beach to the front of the hotel was private and all ours!!! If you want to enjoy a fantastic location surrounded by antiquities a private beach be away from the centre but within easy walking distance, to be with warm friendly people then this is the hotel for you. Totally wonderful!!!

This is a very basic hotel with minimal extras in the room, but it's clean and for the cost represents good value. Where it really wins is the location, the hotel is next to the beach and hotel guests can use the loungers without charge. Side's old town is just five minutes walk away and with its mix of ancient ruins, shops and harbour it will cater for most needs. The hotel staff are friendly, and the food is typically Turkish. Yes the sound of the music at nights can be a bit intrusive, and if quiet nights are an absolute necessity for you, then this hotel may not fit the bill. Overall we were delighted and would be happy to return to this hotel again.
