We visited the Tuana this summer for 1 week. It is in the best possible location for exploring the town of Side, very close to the beach and all the hustle and bustle of the town but still manages to have a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Ali and Clare were wonderful hosts who made everyone feel at home and went out of their way to help the guests. The Turkish night was a lot of fun, the food and entertainment were great.
Apparently it is one of the only hotels in the old town to have a swimming pool and although it is only small, it's perfect for cooling off in the hot heat. The Tuana is a basic hotel, don't expect 5 stars, but it is excellent value for money and very comfortable. If we ever come back to Side we wont stay anywhere else.

Just returned with my friend from two weeks at the Tuana. The hotel is a typical Turkish pension, basic but clean, tidy and comfy beds. Ali and Clare who run this establish try to achieve a fantastic and personlised holiday for every guest. The pool as advertised is a splash pool and is perfect for cooling off. Breakfast is a typical turkish breakfast and is fresh throughout the breakfast hours.

The Tuana is in a fantastic location, now it is the only one in the proper old town of Side. Out of the hotel gates are beautiful ruins and the beach is a stones throw away.

Would deffo go back, thank you all for a 'lovely' time.

just returned from a week in side Turkey at the Tuana B&B , rooms dirty,dusty and very out off date , Breakfast was a choice off , bread, dried up cheese and a hand full off cucumber and toms,and over cooked boiled eggs, air conditioning unit in room was held open by piece off cardboard,light swithches loose, bathroom dirty . about an inch off dust in places in room. pool is size off our front room so do not expect to go there and have nice swim , this is the worst place we have stayed in in Turkey. as for the resort (Side) its a lovely place to stay, lovely beaches lovely resturants, just wish we had a nice hotel.

just come back from 2 weeks at the tuana, we couldnt fault anything. Ali, and whole staff where wonderful and very welcoming. Ali can work miracles in the kitchen, if you ask him for anything not on the menu he will try and get it for you. Can definitely recommend his liver and onions, his chicken casserole and the turkish night. The pool is well kept and clean, the rooms are what you would expect of a pension, so dont go thinking its 5 star accomodation it is a pansyon and a very very good one at that., so go on and give it a try.
