“2 Week Holiday September 2011”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 November 2011

Very nice hotel apartments. Staff very friendly and helpful and this added greatly to the overall holiday experience. Hotel is quite a distance from the beach ( and everything else) and is situated in a quiet, residential area. The Corner Bar is a good place to eat and is within easy walking distance. Daily bus service to the beach and cheap taxis get you to the town in 10 mins. The Thos. Cook day trips we went on (River trip and Perge/Aspendos) were excellent but the temperature while we were there was a bit too hot to enjoy to the max.
Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Choice of hotel rooms or self-catering apartments. Rooms include breakfast which was the same choice...

just back from this place after being mislead from thomas cook holiday site we booked from thomas cook and when looking at the place we were booking we pressed more on the page for info about the place and it showed 7 swimming pools entertainment day and night and and right next to the beach so we paid for the holiday then found out its not that one at all and they put us in the myra apart also another 3couples ended up there also after booking thinking they were going to the myra hotel apart in turkey one couple had to pay an extra £100 to upgrade there room patrick and carmel even thou the place was empty more or less and first they were shown a room like a box room and then told if they want a bigger room it be an extra £100 also patrick is an elderly man and not long gone an opp so would have made sence to give them the lower floor apart in first place so with having been give false info to where they were going they also ended up having to give more money out i felt so sorry for the lovely couple hope they get a refund and appoligy from thomas cook and the myra for charging them extra...as for us were taking it further after been stuck in an appartment with four kids one ring to cook on no oven just a tv and fridge freezer .he myra has two pools but one is as green as grass and sometimes u could not get in pool till 11 or 12 in morning.. will try upload a photo off it also the myra apt is a good 15 to 20 min walk to the beach...we would say myra is good if u want a quiet holi but not for kids and even tho myra aprt was supposeto have entertainment there twice a week they said because there not busy then there not doing it pure rip off only nice if your spending money there ..once again beware off being decieved by thomas cook web site also belive its like that with olimpic too when u press for more info u get the multi myra hotel apart not the myra apart ..if it wasnt for the weather would have hung myself

Room Tip: make sure before u book that u have asked for one of the refurbished rooms or they will put u in a s...

“Xx FANTASTIC HOLIDAY xX”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2011

Our party was me, my partner our daughter 2yrs, mother, brother & step dad and we all had a blast. Everyone all ages enjoyed it.
Our room had enough space for what you need and what, only had 1 cooking ring in our room tho but we ate out everyday so wasnt a issue, Breakfast was basic but were not morning eaters so again wasnt a issue for us.
We had Air Con in front room only and which was charged at about £9 TL a day.
Beach was about 30min walk i say in the heat so we jumped on the FREE Bus, which took you directly there it leaves at 10 or 11 AM and collected at 4 or 5PM.
Taxi into Side was MAX 15 Turkish Lira i would recomend getting a taxi as it is a long walk into main side. The Turkish Bath which is advertised at Recp we all had one and it was lovely, Jessica on reception was friendly & helpful at all times. Ali & Ramo on the bar MADE our holiday and would do anything for you also, such a good laugh. We enjoyed the Pool Party & Turkish Night they held. Thomas Cook Rep Gavin was useless. CANNOT wait to go back!!

“Happy Holiday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2011

Just returned from a week's holiday in this smallish hotel / apartment complex. I chose the Myra after researching on "tripadvisor". Most of the previous reports where spot on. We,( my wife & I) chose to book bed & breakfast. The flight time from Belfast meant that we arrived around 02.30. We where warmly welcomed and shown to 'our' room. At this point we felt let down. The room was small, exagerated by having both a double and a single bed. Tiredness delayed any complaining, however before the 'welcoming' by the excellent Thomas Cook rep Gavin, we where offered an upgrade to an apartment for an extra £10 per night. There was no hesitation and from that point our holiday mood returned. The complex IS small but kept clean and tidy (unobtrusively). The pools 2 'adult' and 2 childrens where never crowded and sunloungers where always available. The pool bar/resturant proved popular and the basic bar snacks tasty and reasonably priced. The Hotel offers a 'free' bus service to and from the nearby beach twice daily. The 'Full moon' beach offered excellent sun loungers and parasols free. and their resturant served some very good snacks and drinks at reasonable prices. The hotel tries to keep the guests happy by organising the traditional Turkish night as well as a Karoke night and pool party evening. While there we witnesed some nice upgrading of the hotel facilities, new tables and chairs in the pool bar and reception area. My main complaint would be focused on the 'breakfast'. Entitled 'typicaly Turkish' I and other guests where greatly dissapointed. This hotel / apartment complex is like a lot dotted throughtout Side and many other touristy areas in Turkey, it's NOT in the middle of the action. It is some 25 minutes walk through uninteresting streets / roads to the 'Old Town', but if you prefer, a taxi costs only 15 Turkish Lira each way.

Room Tip: Go for an apartment, forget about breakfast.
