“lovley days, dull nights !”

Me and my family recently went to turkey, we arived at the hotel and the service was amazing after a short ride in a golf buggie we arrived at our room which was spotless. the pools are lovely. clean and very fun.its facilitys where really good perfect for business. we found the shuttel bus to side or mangvat for 20 lyria for a family of 4 return was good as it allowed you freedom, we would recomend mangivat the resturants are beautiful by the river and it is more like a rustic turkey. the beach was beautful however it was very hard to walk on as it had many fine stones and the idea about having towel card for you to collect free beach/pool towells every day was good. The hotel is widely german dominated. despite this we had no hot meals. the spa was lovely and he haman was amazing. then you get to night time . you had your cold dinner and go to the bar 9:30 come along. Show time ! we had not one decent show and the level of humour is low. All this hotel needed was to be moved downn the road, to mangvat. giving you somthing to do at night.

“if you like cold food , this is the place to stay”

If your idea of a holiday is to sit by the pool all day , this is the place for you . Rooms very nice and clean , towels changed every day . Hotel is really nice , set in nice grounds , but miles away from anywhere, nowhere to go for nice walks, ( once you've seen the grounds). My biggest gripe was the food, although quite tasty , was absolutely stone cold most of the time , even when straight out of the kitchen. I can honestly say that in the week we stayed we did not get one hot meal. No variety either , same food day in day out. The A la Carte was no better .

“great hotel and holiday”

We have always found this site helpful so thought I would leave a review for others....we paid about £2000 All inc for 2 weeks for 2 adults and our 3 and half year old and 9 month old daughter which we thought was fair for a good day flight and 5 star hotel. 5 stars are not the same as say London Hilton or The Dorchester so dont go with this illusion but this hotel was lovely. Relatively new and well maintained, large well kept grounds inc flower gardens and large clean sandy beach, good clean and large pools and good childrens pool, playarea and kids club, the reps spoke English but none of the other kids so my daughter was not over keen on joining in kids club. Not enough sun beds as the guests seem to put their towels down across 3 or 4 chairs and goto the pool for a few hours! (normally a german trait but it appeared to be the slovenians, slovaks, russians etc who are the bulk of the guests) Quite annoying and selfish but I have no problem with simply removing the towels amd taking the chairs, although as my husband is turkish we were looked after and found sunbeds when needed. Our family room was large clean and had all that we needed except it was up two flights of stairs and no lift as we were not in the main building so we had to carry the pushchair up and down the stairs every time which was a drag! No other room was available.

The hotel holds a lot of guests and mealtimes are a bit crazy and full on if you arrive at the start (7pm) as its busy and everyone wants to grab the best food, for example the fresh strawberries or baclava for dessert had gone by 8 pm, we preferred a quieter dining experience so we went around 7.30/8 and got our dessert at the same time as all other courses! As my husband is Turkish we were looked after in terms of finding us a clean table and bringing us drinks etc, but as the staff are paid such low low wages they rely on tips and are good at knowing who gives the tips and so then treat them well and ignore others. The restaurant closed at 9 which we found too early and literally 9 pm the lights went down and the staff left! The food was very good quality and lots of choice, although I love turkish food so would never get bored but after 2 weeks some may find it a bit samey. The lunch was served at the beach bar and was very good every day, salads and BBQ meat was the best we found.

The entertaiment was not too bad, what youd expect really from an inhouse animation team, the live music was a female singer and 2 men with a keyboard not great but 2 other bars were available if you didnt want to hear it!

We really enjoyed our holiday, the sea was warm and clean and we spent days relaxing on the beach, with trips to the childrens pool and back again, eating, eating and more eating, I had a lovely relaxing thai massage. We would recommend this to families and will consider going back next year as it had all we needed for a relaxing family holiday.
